Dear Senator Lugar,

I’ll try to be brief today as we are on the cusp of the 4th of July celebration. I do hope you will be celebrating American Independence as opposed to American Exceptionalism, which in my view is “the work of the devil.”

As a resident of Stone Mountain, GA, I have had some rather colorful representation in Congress over the years. First, Pat Swindall (sp?), a Republican of the lowest order who eventually could not hide his crimes behind the fertile womb of his wife and spent some deserved time in jail. Then we had “Congressman Cooter,” Ben Jones, a star of THE DUKES OF HAZZARD, an affable man who has struggled with being human and who later ran off to Virginia.

The real star, of course, was Cynthia McKinney. Georgians will always love her for forcing the mining companies to give more than a penny per ton to landowners who were tied to contracts allowing the rape of their land for kaolin. I used to love to watch the State of the Union addresses. Cynthia, God bless her, always dressed in red like a harlot, and in view of the cameras planted a big smackeroo on W’s cheek. She got in trouble telling the truth about how the Bush family and Cheney had planned the events of 9/11. I don’t want to make a big point about that now. Everyone with a shred of gumption knows that is true, but I am not the one to deliver the evidence on this matter. (Cheney’s company had a major contract in the drilling of that well that continues to spill in the Gulf, and I’d bet my mother’s life that therein can be found the real culprit.) I’m also not certain the American Public is ready for that much truth yet, so for now, let’s concentrate on cleaning up this Republican Party illegal-drug monopoly, shall we?

I had meant to mention this earlier, but I do have in my physical possession here in Mexico (in safekeeping, of course), contemporaneous photocopies of all the documents I delivered or mailed to the City of Stone Mountain, Newt Gingrich, Ted Turner, Coretta Scott King, and others back in 1990. I won’t give them or copies of them up to anyone I have not found I trust, but in them, I detailed what I had discovered (or thought I discovered) about the flow of illegal drugs from Mexico and points south during that time. Little did I know it was Newt who was in charge then, but live and learn!

Basically, as Republicans (and others) were hollering back then about searching planes (except Air Force), cars, boats, rafts, and alimentary canals for illegal drugs, Newt was bringing them in on trains (Praise Jesus: I recently read that the Obama admin is FINALLY giving thorough checks of trains coming from Mexico. I bet the fuel budget of our Air Force planes has been blown since then. LOL!) At that time, the steam train that ran from Underground Atlanta into Stone Mountain Park had been shut down (by the GA Republicans in a trumped-up territorial snit-fit). That allowed the Georgia Railroad to use the spur into the Park (four lots from my house) to idle railcars there since it had no other use.

But then one day, I noticed that several empty appearing coal cars (usually it was empty coal cars that would sit there) had been pulled into the park and sat behind the Park’s main rail station. Inland Seafood trucks, also at the train depot, were busy being loaded. Drugs had been sealed in weather-tight containers, and then in the bottoms of “empty” coal cars were brought into the Park. Of course Republicans had seen to it that a gaming company from somewhere that had had a long history in organized crime but been renamed Something-or-other “Family Entertainment” was given a long term management lease of the Park.

This arrangement could not last forever, and eventually those spur tracks were pulled up and the right of way is now a walking/bicycling trail into the Park.

Also of note is that my mother is not as smart as she likes to think. Back when Judge Linda Warren Hunter was holding me illegally in jail in 1990, my mother had told me when I called home from jail (this on at least two occasions) that I could not speak to Dad because he was then in a private meeting with Judge Hunter in her chambers, trying to work something out for my release. Of course it is now clear that this was not the exact nature of their meetings, and my mother has since denied this ever happened, but Mom unthinkingly gave me a three-inch high pile of documents and notes relating to my incarceration then, and in it, I found in her hand, at least one note relating to Dad meeting privately with the judge.

Recently, when I thought I would not be able to make the hearing concerning the anti-stalking papers Christal Presley had filed against me (see my blog: scottkenan.blogspot.com ), I called the judge, expecting I could meet with her privately before leaving for Mexico to explain my side of things, but her assistant explained that it would be at least unethical if not illegal. What a surprise!!!

And while we’re on the topic, if you do investigate Christal’s charges, her contention that I had several times claimed to be Jesus is entirely false. I have never bought that idea at all, although I did confide in Christal that three times in my life, strangers had approached me out of the blue and told me I was the one who would be misunderstood by some to be the return of Jesus, by others to be the King of the Jews. That I would eventually need to take all care not to allow such heresies to take root. Silly, but given what Christal has put into the legal record, I feel forced to clarify.

God Rules!!!
