 Well, who knows who these new buyers are, but Ancestry.com offers an extremely valuable service to those seeking their family heritage -- whether they back-dunk dead people or not. Since my own lineage is traced person-by-person to the 600s (and verified and published under her authorship by the world's TOP expert in geneology -- one of the perks of being a Kenan), I have never needed to use it to track my own relatives.

  • The BEST part for me in reading this book is that right up front, the author lets you know that although the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust COMMISSIONED him to write it (about William R. Kenan, Jr. -- arguably the BEST and most MORAL BUSINESSMAN in all of human history -- Flagler credited him so, and I would put Frank Hawkins Kenan immediately under him -- they ALSO SPECIFICALLY told him they would FULLY COOPERATE in disclosing ANYTHING he wanted to know or have access to, NO MATTER HOW EMBARASSING TO THE KENAN FAMILY -- and his shock and amazement that THIS PROVED TO BE TRUE!!!

  • That said, he seemed so admiring of his commissioners, that he made light of the biggest "Christian Scandal" of the Kenan Family -- Mary Lily's having contracted syphillis in her youth (when there was no cure but the painful arsenic was used to abate it), which only flowered about the time Flagler died. She then actually MARRIED the man who had given it to her in college, "Col." Bingham of Louisville (Robert Worth Bingham), who fed her new addictions to cocaine and morphine (for the pain of tertiary syphillis which had struck her with avengence), forced her to sign the codicil to her will granting him $5,000,000.00 with which he bought the Louisville Courier-Journal and began the Bingham Publishing Empire, which a couple of generations later, Sallie Bingham FORCED into being broken up after she learned of her grandfather's MURDER of her step grandmother, and then used ht bulk of HER share of proceeds to fund an organization in support of down-trodden women. HA!!!

  • Scott Kenan It's annoying this last one has no graphic coming through -- although there IS one on the site showing a dramatic CRACKING of the glass in front of a framed pic of Mary Lilly. HA!! Chandler is a VERY dramatic writer and FUN READ!!!
 
Wikipedia is CHOCK FULL of info on the Kenan Line going back through all the Stuart Monachs, MAGNA CARTA SURETIES (two are in the Kenan Line), Charlemagne, and even HIS ancestors!!!
 
 
It is QUITE A HERITAGE for me or anyone else to LIVE UP TO!!!

Favorite part for us GAY KENANS (most hid behind wives and husbands, but were TOTALLY into homo-sex like ALL TRUE SOUTHERNERS, which was the CHIEF reason Puritan Northerns used to MORALLY abuse the South. Lincoln thought all blacks should be shipped back to Africa (and was actually gay as a goose himself http://scottkenan.blogspot.mx/2011/05/end-of-republican-party-praise-lincoln.html .
 
Puritan New England MORALISTS (while COMPLETELY CONTROLLING AND PROFITTING FROM THE SLAVE TRADE -- LIKE REPUBLICANS/CIA CONTROL ALL ILLEGAL NARCO-TRAFFICKING TODAY), where SHOCKED by NOT ONLY the RAMPANT practice of bisexuality in the South, but by the fact that Southerners had (no matter the true evidence of HORRID abuse of slaves), become VERY close to the former Africans who had completely infected their owners with "SOUL".
