The Huffington Post has named Kate Palmer its new managing editor. Palmer most recently served as the site’s national editor. She came to HuffPost in 2012, after serving as managing editor of The Onion. Prior to that, Palmer served as Foreign Policy’s deputy managing editor.
Palmer is succeeding Jimmy Soni, who is headed to New Delhi to help launch HuffPost India. Soni has served as HuffPost’s managing editor since 2012.
