New Hanover County Board of Elections Director Marvin McFadyen was arrested Saturday on assault charges against a female.

McFadyen is currently being held in jail by the Wilmington Police Department.

According to the jail website, McFadyen is awaiting a court date set for Monday.

There being no updates of info yet -- and no designation if he is Democrat or Republican, I did some research, discovering little, except that he has about a ten-year career implementing voter suppression plans in North Carolina (twice), and in Tennessee, as well as a stint as a restaurateur.

Marvin McFadyen from his Facebook page. Were it ME he had solicited, I don't think we would have had a problem -- a little looseness of bod is compensated for by great hairation!!!

And he can just claim the "Sherman Lee Criner Defense" (whatever that was that got him off after diddling the vagina of a young girl in Thalian Hall theater):

As voters in N.H. County will remember, it was shortly AFTER police intimidated the girl's father into NOT prosecuting Sherman Lee Criner for "unnatural acts with a child", that his wive, Judge Sandra Ray Criner was elected HEAD of the County Republicans -- and then went on to be the un-opposed judge who got the MOST VOTES in her re-election -- and Sherman Lee was HAND PICKED to be a judge in the Wilmington Azalea Belles Contest -- LOL!!!

In Wilmington, North Carolinamolesting children (or adults), will give you a big CAREER BOOST, especially in government -- and when voted on by PRACTICING CHRISTIANSno???

2. (Yeah, there IS no #1):

This result of image-googling "hiding under Jesus's skirts" might be just a TETCH-BIT inappropriate!!!

The following is a Facebook comment pasted in here completely out of context, but it seems to relate to the above image, none-the-less.

Scott Kenan I can't blame you for avoiding taking a political stand here. As is so typical, as long as you hide under Jesus's skirts, you can't see reality or think sensibly

It is a PITY that so many are so up-tight when Jesus came to point the way and most Christians only study his fingernail -- or whatever one sees from under his skirt. He wasn't known to wear pants.

3. I was surprised to see how popular last night's posting,, has been!!! This morning, I found it had more hits than any other posted this week!!!

And of course there were TONS of hits in Mexico (governments and others -- and perhaps I should have written "KILOS of hits"), I assume -- or at least HOPE -- very largely in Puerto Vallarta. And BOTH Ukraine and France hit it more than people from the USA -- in fact American hits DROPPED from typical -- I guess Americans don't like to read the truth -- STILL!!!

4. But here are some truly cool pics of kids getting ready for Christmas -- from another thread by my same Facebook Friend:

Sandra Sitzler Owings added 4 new photos.

Only one was needed!!!

The violent disappearance of 43 students from the Ayotzinapa teachers college in Guerrero state has caused a political earthquake the likes of which Mexico has not seen in generations — perhaps even since the revolution of 1910.
