Today, I received by snail mail, confirmation of my Publisher level support and tickets to the 2015 Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival http://www.tennesseewilliams.net/ -- and I'm especially looking forward to meeting John Lahr, John Waters (when the movie Hairspray (1988) came out, I worked for Lawrence Buchthal whose brother Stanley produced the movie -- and I was also once scheduled to spaghetti-wrestle Divine at the Monster Key West, but she had to cancel), and Gen. Russell Honore, who did NOLA right -- after Katrina!!!
I just have to be careful not to distract from things Tennessee Williams, with "political talk".
3. Today, I had occasion to speak with a number of Mexican businessmen in Zona Romantica, Puerto Vallarta -- and not a single one of them knew about the city councilman who was abducted last Friday and is still missing.
Additionally, Puerto Vallarta Daily News has since BLOCKED ME FROM COMMENTING, so I guess they are as drug-mafia corrupted as nearly everything else around here. I understand not wanting to scare tourists away, but if they don't solve it within another day, I predict all HELL will break out in Mexican Politics!!!
