I got "back door" feedback from two people today that Gloria Allred (or equally competent attorney), will DEFINITELY handle my CASES (the not-yet-filed-on-my-behalf ones against the City of Wilmington, State of North Carolina, Patrick Stansbury of www.pentagon-usa.com , Fox News/Republican Party, etc.) although not necessarily my defense in New Hanover County Courts, in which Ms. Harjo will likely continue to represent me.
2. The timeline for this is longer than I would prefer, so I am warned that I must continue to work on "chilling" and further developing my diplomatic skills. My cases CANNOT yet be filed because too many ignorant hateful racists/homophobes are armed to the teeth, and after what happened in Florida to Trayvon Martin (like what has happened to SO MANY OTHERS, including that Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords --
ALL OF THESE INCIDENTS ARE BLOOD ON THE HANDS OF CURRENT REPUBLICAN PARTY TOP LEADERSHIP AND PEOPLE (LIKE LOCAL SENATOR THOM GOOLSBY WHO ALLOWS AND ENCOURAGES WHITE RACISTS TO RANT UNCHALLENGED ON HIS FACEBOOK PAGE).

My friends who recently returned from the NC Republican Party Convention report that THIS BLOG was QUITE THE TOPIC OF BACK-ROOM DISCUSSIONS!!!And that Ben McCoy, especially, wondered WHO ON EARTH "all the email addresses of local Republicans" to ME. (Ben exaggerates -- but I certainly understand his feelings).

So much has happened -- since Reality took no break WITH me -- that I am having a difficult time picking and choosing subjects, but I have decided that today's major writing adventure is going to be a postable email to Mr. Kenan Kern, the nephew of Alvaretta Kenan Register who wrote the original 1967 edition of THE KENAN FAMILY AND SOME ALLIED FAMILIES OF THE COMPILER AND PUBLISHER.
I ordered the 1999 update from him through Amazon (should arrive today or Monday), as he clearly has the most copies of the book and the best price. I've noticed he FREQUENTLY posts helpful comments on genealogy boards, including to people that are there having nothing to do with the Kenan family.
He's just a helpful person.
Also, his aunt's original version (offset published by Kenan Print Shop in Statesboro) reads like Aunt Pitty Pat's Subconscious -- if you will recall the scene in GONE WITH THE WIND when around the Thanksgiving Table (Christmas???), they share the meager food and the last bottle of wine from the cellar.
Aunt Pitty Pat went into a Scott-like ramble about family connections that the wine had brought to her mind. This is CHOICE SOUTHERN STUFF!!! -- and I have good reason to believe Mr. Kern is TOTALLY into it. I ALSO believe that I have simply GOT to have a better connection to Tommy and other "top" Kenans than John Blades, Exec. Dir. of the Flagler Museum. His responsibilities are ENORMOUS. Mr. Kern is retired, with enough time to be helpful with his comments to those lost in the process tracking their genealogy.
I seem to have emerged from a chrysalis, transformed, and I simply do NOT see myself going forward in that old "PRESSURED!!!" mode any longer. I've (without trying) found a FAR more diplomatic voice -- but lost no old ones -- which I'm sure will be useful at times. At the bottom, I'm going to paste in comments I made on Sen. His page is a perfect example of the Modern Face of Racism -- perfectly wrapped in Respectability and the Bible -- and you sure as HELL won't find a minority face on it!!! With Thom always taking the "high road" in his communications, and then ALMOST EVERY POST-ER posting at best IGNORANT comments based on lies -- or downright HATEFUL -- AND NO ONE REPLIES TO CHALLENGE THE HATE AND IGNORANCE PARTS!!! -- til I came along.
And having met Thom's parents, wife, visiting sibling with spouse and their and Thom's children (pretty much everyone but Thom) in their side yard when about to fill their cars to go on a family outing shortly after I moved into my 8th Street apartment a year ago -- long before the later kitchen confrontation with Mrs. Goolsby (which began the bad vibes part) or anything with Thom.
But what was CLEAR as a bell in our actually quite delightful encounter, was that once they got my last name and my promo card for my Tennessee Willaims memoir (back when I still had some), they ALL (especially the oldest of them) made all over me as if they were genuinely HONORED to meet me, and said I should come visit ANY TIME -- just to knock at the back door.
I never did, as the house is always doors, windows, and shades-drawn-shut -- as if the owners are away for an extended time, and then as I began meeting neighbors, I came to learn that they -- without exception -- said the Goolsbys are completely stand-offish, and do not socialize in their own neighborhood AT ALL, and have to be pressed to get a simple "Hello!" out of them.
Bottom Line: I suspect that Frank Hawkins Kenan (who died in 1996) mentored Thom many years ago, when most Top Republicans, like Frank here in NC, were uncorrupted by the Drug Cancer that now controls them, their Greed, Hypocrisy, Hatred of Real Education, and the Dark Vision they have for this country. And like Tom Fetzer, whom I KNOW was mentored by Frank before becoming Mayor of Raleigh and then Chairman of the Republican Party in NC -- until Tea Party people spread absolutely TRUE rumors of Fetzer being gay (he was ALMOST notorious in his youth, like Thomas S. Kenan III -- and like me), and EVERY gay person I've met here near my age can tell you LOTS of stories about BOTH of them.
But Fetzer was smart enough to actually marry and impregnate a woman -- about the time he took party reins. He had to know the WITCH HUNT was coming.
His wife is a retiring, "obedient" type woman, which brings up Napier Fuller, the Republican who so impressed me but lost last fall in his bid for City Council. He claims he LOVES and DEVOURS my blog, and last I ran into him on the street claimed that "everyone" in Wilmington reads it. But HE is married to an Asian woman (another late marriage -- like Goolsby as well!!!), and when I met her, she is not that good at English (suggesting she could easily be kept in the dark about his "other" activities -- IF he has them, soomething that I don't know about and is no one else's business really -- unless the person's a DAMN HYPOCRITE, which I do NOT consider Napier to be), although Napier's appearance and manner is so gay-goose-ish, I can't believe they haven't run him out of town on a rail.
Also, you should know that I FULLY INTEND to contact Gloria Allred's law firm. That woman is the FIRST PERSON I've heard speak at any length who clearly has BALLS as big and musky as mine. Her firm would make MINCE MEAT of the Davids, Dr. Menke, some local judges, Chief Evangelous, and Ernie Thompson. Now I don't know what will happen, but ALL signs point to THE UNIVERSE having DISTINCTLY offered me the HIGHEST HONOR I could possibly imagine: Central Command of the most important lawsuit(s) ever tried in United States history.
And I'm NOT firing Jennifer Harjo. She feels an obligation to keep herself COMPLETELY in the dark about what I have to say various places and she SCRUPULOUSLY refuses to hear a thing about my political struggle, new evidence of crimes against me, etc. -- even sometimes refusing to listen to my voicemails, recently, and just this week NEVER returned my call from Tuesday evening. My "paranoid part" sees how she's perfectly setting herself up to AGREE that we cannot communicate (even though nothing's different now except that I'm LESS verbose with her), and may well be complicit in an effort to get a judge to actually commit me to Cherry Hospital.
No other explanation makes sense.
The ONE time she needed to actually make an argument of significance to a judge, she seemed totally unprepared (and had NOT discussed it with me before that at all), yet although she awkwardly "winged" it, she was also successful, so I might just have too high expectations of others -- and assume they are nearly as smart as me, although around here, no one seems even HALF as smart, and having usually hung with the smarter ones, I can assure you that Wilmington might as well be the Sahara Dang Desert!!!
I FAR PREFER HONEST ARROGANCE TO FALSE MODESTY!!!
Don't forget, I already have someone in one of Sen. Kay Hagan's several offices researching how to get me some UNCORRUPTED Federal Protection against the Wilmington Police, etc. Strangely, cops in downtown are paired with Sheriff's Deputies for patrolling -- I've NEVER seen Sheriff's Deputies used like cops anywhere in my life before. Sheriff McMahon is a completely honorable person -- but seriously naive.
I don't know if they paired them so that the ABSOLUTELY-corrupted cops can gradually corrupt the relatively UN-drug-corrupted County Deputies -- or if it's to keep the cops from getting completely out of control in their illegalities of operation. My intuition says to bet my BOTTOM DOLLAR on the former.
I will judiciously copy this email to others, but not publish it -- at least for now. (It is no longer "now".)
I DID just receive a used copy of my stolen-by-Mexican-Drug-Thugs bio of William R. Kenan, JR, Flagler's steward of all the Florida ventures. Will was at the center of the LONGEST court case in US history (having to do with the FEC -- here meaning Florida East Coast Railway -- which I believe took four decades to settle, finally. And in so MANY other things as well, WILL Kenan is my spiritual inspiration -- and like me, he TOTALLY soured on the RACISM and HYPOCRISY of Wilmingtonians. He did much here, but one day left and never looked back -- and for the rest of his life REFUSED to even talk about Wilmington. REALLY!!!
Flagler, known as "The Robber Baron with Heart" , always said that Will Kenan was the only man he'd ever met who was a BETTER businessman than himself, and Will never ceased to amaze him. Will also was known for his heart, compassion, and unfailing generosity (and total CHEAP-ASSED thriftiness).
Yes, I know this has other implications for the in-a-couple-of-weeks future, if The Lawsuit is a GO, but I don't want to get ahead of myself and feeling a moral obligation to FORCE the truth out about the DRUG CORRUPTION in this country and END it before the Republicans drag us all the way into HELL prematurely, fommenting unnecessary violence by the HATERS.
But when that DOES happen, it will mean my siblings, who have made their ostrich beds WILLFULLY -- despite my EVERY attempt to get them to see how they've been manipulated by my mother -- will have their lives torn apart when national and international press starts camping on their doorsteps.
NONE of this is actually in my control, except that if it is God-ordained, it WILL move forward without undo effort when I contact Ms. Allred.
