And I believe you know that I really DO wish you all the success in the world with this and hope your production is much better than my Williams Friend (read: HATES SEWANEE and anyone who would do business with them) reported and I published on my blog and emailed to ALL 800, including you.

You see, I know and YOU know that the only PRACTICAL way to produce this play was to kiss Sewanee's ass -- something I am constitutionally unprepared to do!!! (I DO like kissing real MAN ass, however, but have recently fallen in love with a 42-year-old soccer player from an ancient city in Spain who has the body and heart of the young Tennessee Williams, as well as being an outcast from a powerful, wealthy family gone to drug-corruption, so he had all HIS wealth stolen like I did and I cannot tell you more as he is not versed in fighting techniques like me -- THE ALWAYS WINNER!!! HA!). Bottom line: I'm out of circulation.

Anyway, to fill you in, a college chum of mine who'd been Police Commissioner of Los Angeles and now as a lawyer recently won a HUGE settlement for the family of Michael Jackson has briefed Gloria Allred on my situation and indicated she will take my cases suing various corrupt elements of Wilmington City, North Carolina State Courts, the FBI and CIA -- and this will soon enough fell Sewanee's governance of TW's rights and estate.

I could not be happier or more encouraged. You SEE how damaging to the Republican Party's propaganda machine my background work has already been -- JUST WATCH THE NEWS!!! I am ACCOMPLISHING more and more rapidly what I promised Jackie Onassis I would do.

I only regret that to avoid violence and more mayhem than any of us needs to deal with, I cannot come up for your show. I would ask, however, that you give each and every member of your staff -- but especially the actors -- my heartfelt and emphatic thanks and broken legs!!!

First of all, my friend saw an early preview -- and there's a reason they are called "Previews", I remember how disastrous Greg Mosher/Andre Ernotte's production of A HOUSE NOT MEANT TO STAND seemed to be in early previews, and Tennesse fled in "terror". But when we got back fro the opening, he wept with pleasure at what had been achieved. Dramaturg Joe can tell you how I recalled all that in my book, although I do not believe I wrote about the tears.

And what I prefer to think of right now is that you somehow got around Sewanee's agent of "revision" (as well as their assassin of TW), John Uecker's attempt to write the character allegedly based on me out of the play. And as I've stated before, I really don't care if it is based on me or not -- or if i get any recognition if it is -- I only know that its retention is evidence that you have sought to maintain as much integrity of Tom's play as possible.

For that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope these words help boost everyone's energy to make all the continuing changes you feel inspired to make so that your production is the success it CAN be -- and then continues on to Broadway.
