- Can someone PLEASE untangle this TOTALLY GARBLED news report for me please??? While the SIGN is certainly OFFENSIVE, no proof is shown that the KKK actually posted it -- and since WHEN is being merely offensive (short of threatening violence, etc.) a crime under the US Constitution???
In September 2011, my friend Tammy of Wilmington, NC whose husband is a long-time member of the KKK, actually OFFERED ME the KKK's SERVICES to BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF District Attorney Benjamin R. David and District Court Judge Sandra Ray Criner (whose husband Sherman Lee Criner is a PROVEN FEMALE CHILD-MOLESTER that Wilmington Police convinced the victim's parents should NOT be prosecuted -- this is how REPUBLICANS in Wilmington ESCAPE PUNISHMENT for their crimes), after between them they had LOCKED ME UP a total of FIVE TIMES (eventually, I was jailed six times on EIGHT false charges, nut-house committed TWICE on lies, and had my life threatened a few dozen times at knife or razor point by their DRUG-TRASH MINIONS -- and innumerable times by fists in the 14 months I lived in Wilmington, NC before fleeing to Puerto Vallara, Mexico where I now live in political exile).
Tammy claims that the ONLY violence KKK members now cause (at least in Wilmington), is to BEAT husbands who either beat their wives, girlfriends, or children. I guess they felt the crimes against me by Democrat David and Republican Criner (who had signed at least ONE of the false commitment papers), were EGREGIOUS enough to rank up there with CHILD or WIFE beating.
At the time, I asked Tammy to thank the Klan for their kind offer, but since I ALWAYS eschew violence, I accepted a FREE LUNCH at Olive Garden (with UNLIMITED salad and bread ticks) plus TWO packs of cigarettes, which the KKK paid for, instead.
And as for the NC Daughters of the Confederacy, when our family visited Dad's first cousin Fanny (last month she celebrated her 101 birthday), in Dad's birth-town of Burgaw, NC before I graduated high school in 1969, "Aunt Fanny" teased Dad, saying she had to leave our meeting early (no one had called her first, so it was hit or miss that we caught her), because she had to go to her Daughters of the Confederacy meeting -- and then GLEEFULLY added: "We're presenting our two scholarships to black girls this year -- and LAST year one of them went to a colored girl too!!!"
Fanny paused for a moment to allow that to sink into our Yankee skulls, before continuing: "But, Bill (my Dad), YOU went and turned YANKEE -- so YOU wouldn't understand THAT!!!"
HA!!! Aunt Fanny helped turn me CONFEDERATE!!!
