Well, WHATEVER I responded to that -- and I only remember it vaguely -- it is ENTIRELY FALSE and proof of your occassionally inferior ability to do research (no offense intended, but I think it played to your and typical American prejudices about Mexico).
Besides, I've spent far MORE than that in Mexico in previous months. I can't imagine WHERE you get some of your ideas -- or why you stay with a traitorous bank like Chase.
But that is YOUR business and I do NOT mean to BITE THE HAND THAT HAS FED ME.
I'll probably stop going to Teo's Palapa at Mismaloya Beach as I've known since back two years ago that despite the good food, GREAT location closest to IGUANA ruins -- and the FINE business, cultural, and other discussions I have had with "Jose Cuervo" (the only employee NOT a blood relative of the owners there) that they have remained in business for about 20 years now (usually having almost NO customers -- due to their being fathest to walk to from the river AND the OTHER server, one-bad-eyed Noah's PATHETICALLY BAD SERVICE), because the head of that family, Pedro, is one of the largest marijana (and possibly other drugs) distributors in the Puerto Vallarta area.
Two years ago I used to see Pedro's hot little near-black-tinted-windows car making deliveries in some of the WORST neighborhoods in PV. And the WHOLE FAMILY has a HIGH STANDARD OF LIVING (in Mexican relativity, at least), despite doing next to NO BUSINESS on the beach.
Noah's typical yet WORSE, IGNORANT service two days ago is the thing that prompts me to disclose this now. I had thought marijuana dealing was NO BIG DEAL -- and probably it ISN'T, really, assuming that is ALL Pedro deals -- but i've gotten FED UP with BULL CRAP no matter where I find it.
BTW: That giant parrot shirt (only) arrived yesterday and it is GREAT, thanks!!!
But now I've been wondering: WHY have you been so adamant that I NOT post your name on my blog??? Are you just SHY -- or is it something else?
