So this can be CONFUSING -- especially since TWO people I know have made a PUBLIC STAND on "Mrs. Liquor's Act":

Although David Terry loves his Episcopal Church and his Sewanee alma mater, I'm sure he understands why I have serious problems with them. No need to belabor that. And he might not even know that in the mid-1980s, I worshiped at All Saints, Episcopal in Atlanta -- NOT knowing that James Graham Kenan ("Uncle Jimmy"), worshiped there then, too!!! Of course I was a member for most of a year in First Presbyterian in 2011, here in Wilmington, but identify with Science of Mind (Religious Science), where I studied through the second half of the 1980s, then again from late 1990s - 2010.
I LOVE the values and culture of the Roman Catholic Church -- I had wanted to be a Jesuit priest for about a year and a half in junior high, but left it entirely after high school. The THEOLOGY is full of nonsense, and the Church itself has been largely SUPER-CORRUPT since it was founded -- many Popes having secret (or open), wives, children, and/or male or female lovers. Sometimes there was more than one Pope -- and the Borgia Popes, who brought us the Renaissance, where politically astute SPANISH JEWS!!!
NO SUCH ORGANIZATION can claim "Papal Authority" and be BELIEVED!!!
And in most recent times, Pope Francis (born of two Italian immigrants to Argentina -- NOT of Argentinians), was WELL KNOWN to cooperate with the CIA Death Squads in Argentina when he was a young priest. As Pope, he FAST-TRACKED to "Sainthood" Pope John Paul II (closest Pope to my mother, who RESISTED prosecuting pedophile priests -- or even transferring them to "safe" positions away from children. Pope Benedict continued the same, but less so, many priests ready for Church trials when he resigned.
Rather than HOLD those trials, on taking office, Pope Francis decided that they all needed NEW INVESTIGATIONS before trial -- delaying Justice, indefinitely.
Francis ALSO fast-tracked to Sainthood Father Junipero Serra -- over MASSIVE PROTESTS by Native Americans -- Fr. Serra having enslaved or murdered countless thousands of Native Americans while building the California Mission System, which was only serfdom or slavery for natives -- for the MATERIAL ENRICHMENT of the Catholic Church and Spain.
From Pope Francis, yesterday -- and he's largely talking about marriages APPROVED and PERFORMED by the Catholic Church (and he's probably correct, but see what YOU can make of it!!!):
Could Pope Francis be doing to the Catholic Church what Donald Trump has done to the Republican Party???
