RP: Back to Life -- in AMERICA!!!

RE-PRINTED from herehttp://theweathercontinues.blogspot.com/2016/12/back-to-life-in-america.html

“I’m sorry, Jeannie, your answer was correct, but Kevin shouted his incorrect answer over yours, so he gets the points.”

Well, to begin with, I've not gotten to several things I had REALLY WANTED TO DO, but events have swept us ALL along so quickly, I doubt I will do any of them:

1. Write to former Indiana Republican Senator Richard Lugar, who is a Trustee Emeritus at our alma mater, Denison University, where he founded a Political School. Although as a pre-teen, I had a thing for JFK, it was my senior year in high school -- Columbus, Ohio, living across Larwell Drive from Coach Lou Holtz so my parents could partner with Lou and his wife, Beth, in spreading Catholic Swastikas and for his REWARD, Mom got him his first dream job -- coaching at Notre Dame. Three years ago, I caught Mom on secured comm with Holtz and his closest friend John Boehner, making the deal with Obama to re-open Government.

The Lou Holtz/John Boehner ROMAN CATHOLIC FAN CLUB!!!

Dick Lugar was my FIRST PROGRESSIVE HERO, because when he became Mayor of Indianapolis, right at that time, he got passed UNIGOV, combining the Indianapolis city and county governments so that EVERYONE in metro Indianapolis more fairly shared tax and other burdens of the government -- the richer folks in the suburbs could no longer shirk their duty to the city that gave them life.

I also liked his working with Sen. Sam Nunn of Georgia -- that during the years I lived in Atlanta/Stone Mountain, 1983 - 2010 -- and he recently was awarded the Fulbright Award. And checking, in recent years, the Lugar Program has brought Sen. Bob Graham, Madeleine Albright, Bob Gates, Sen. Olympia Snowe, and others to the Denison campus -- a school of only about 2,200 students including ALL studies!!!

But Sen. Lugar is quite "Old School", now, and not so powerful -- although I HOPE his voice of compromise and reaching across the aisle comes back to Congress.

And Sen. Lugar continues to support this: http://denison.edu/academics/lugar

2. And then I wanted to write Andrew Reynolds, professor at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill -- for his EXCELLENT WORK, and perhaps to fill him in on some political maneuvering of my Kenan Family that controls his university, but for several days, now, all the solicitations I get from Progressive Political Groups are FOCUSED on the problem of Rex Tillerson, who as CEO of Exxon-Mobil, is the TOP Kenan Executive -- totally in bed with Vladimir Putin, and he PREVIOUSLY worked with the CIA and Hillary Clinton's State Department to put Enrique Pena Nieto into power as President of Mexico -- so WHY would he not TAKE OVER US Government -- with the help of Mike Pence's SWASTIKAS, as well???

So I GUESS I'll be called on to REALLY go after Rex Tillerson, Exxon-Mobil, and my Kenan Family in a BIG WAY, and I'll save most of my energy for that -- rather than write Mr. Reynolds, but let me post this again, since it is SO IMPORTANT:

"In the just released EIP report, North Carolina’s overall electoral integrity score of 58/100 for the 2016 election places us alongside authoritarian states and pseudo-democracies like Cuba, Indonesia and Sierra Leone. If it were a nation state, North Carolina would rank right in the middle of the global league table – a deeply flawed, partly free democracy that is only slightly ahead of the failed democracies that constitute much of the developing world.

"Indeed, North Carolina does so poorly on the measures of legal framework and voter registration, that on those indicators we rank alongside Iran and Venezuela. When it comes to the integrity of the voting district boundaries no country has ever received as low a score as the 7/100 North Carolina received. North Carolina is not only the worst state in the USA for unfair districting but the worst entity in the world ever analyzed by the Electoral Integrity Project.

"Respect for democracy is not a partisan issue. In America true Republicans are as loyal to democratic principles as are Democrats."

3.

So today, after banking, I stopped at Farmin on Fronthttps://www.facebook.com/FarminOnFront/, hoping to get some sliced roast beef and rolls for sandwiches, but they don't slice deli meats -- and I got some fried chicken and cut up fruit, instead -- EXCELLENT!!!

And although barely able to resist making a pass -- or at least honoring his smart handsomeness -- I had a long talk with Cutter (actually his middle name), at the meat counter, and a few minutes later was talking to two well-dressed, smart, and handsome homeless guys, and resisted making a pass at them too.

FANCY THAT!!!

When I got home, I discovered that the cashier had slipped a little bag of TAFFIES into my grocery bag -- a NICE SURPRISE.

>>> AND A FEW MORE THINGS:

They are apparently deathly afraid of the American public seeing them do it, and even more afraid of allowing the public to see the Democrats’ response.

In their endless mission to turn every red-blooded American against the caricature of “Immigrant” they have created, Republicans often go much too far. That was…

They keep parading their children around for the paparazzi and posting Instagram photos of them. I know what they are up to: they make a strikingly attractive couple with a lovely family.

This is a campaign underway to put a pretty face on fascism that began with that Jet Blue "guest appearance" in coach. If I had seen them walking by me in Hawaii like this I would have first cruised Jared and then hissed "fascists" at them as they strolled by.

Fascist regimes have always used sex appeal and prettied up "family values" in odd, troubling propagandist ways. The irony here - and I do love irony in narratives, even dangerous national ones - is that this family is an Orthodox Jewish one as it fronts for a regime that has ardent support from the virulently anti-Semitic "alt-right" that works in goose-stepping lockstep with it - "alt-right" being the high-tech term that White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon helped to concoct for fascism.

I'll let the Kushners work that out for themselves. Me? I'll just call it out.

The family was seen enjoying some sun and fun over the weekend at the tropical destination, with Ivanka still finding time to workout and Jared Kushner showing…

Looks JUST LIKE much of the Middle East -- TODAY -- brought to you by the God-Hating Democrat/Republican Christians, the Jews, and the Muslims -- HELLO?!?!?!?

Everyone in the WORLD knows that Obama could have prevented what Aleppo and Syria have come to -- and CONGRESS could have tried to force him, but Obama is a CHRISTIAN, and is doing JESUS'S BIDDING, no???

ALL Abrahamic religions -- Jewish, Christian, and Muslim -- FIRMLY BELIEVE that the world cannot get better until it is ALL BUT DESTROYED and ALL religious Christians, Muslims, and Jews are MORALLY OBLIGED to bring the World to DESTRUCTION, because they believe it is GOD'S PLAN as described in all their "sacred literature".

ONLY THEN, can Jesus (or other "Savior"), come in to fix it all.

I, myself, am ALSO rather Abrahamic -- but to Abraham Lincoln!!!
