Fire Ant hills in South Carolina
In the Cape May, NJ off-season of early 1975, my partners in Whale's Tale, www.WhalesTaleCapeMay.com, Chuck Pritchard and Hillary Russel.-- and I -- with a couple of other friends -- drove our beat-up old Chevy van to Key West and back for a ten-day vacation -- mooching off friends who lived there, we were still broke. We slept in $3.00/night campgrounds in the truck, one night, each way.
One day as I was driving north on I-95, I had an urgent need to "water the grass", pulled off onto the shoulder, and walked down the grade away from view. I had never even HEARD of fire ants -- being a Yankee -- and after relieving myself while standing on a low mound, I returned to the truck, and by the time I climbed in, my ankles were ON FIRE, and I discovered my legs were COVERED in tiny red ants and I RIPPED OFF my jeans (only), and got them all off -- before they got into the van.
I had to empty my pockets, leave the jeans on the side of the road, and drive in my underpants, until we were well enough away to feel SAFE, and I could pull out something else to wear (causing UNLIMITED hilarity -- including from me).
It took a full TWO WEEKS to completely heal, and I found that fresh aloe juice helped in the healing/soothing the most.
I DO hope that Gen. Kelly has BETTER LUCK in the Trump White House!!!
I'm NOT SURE we need THIS bit of hypocrisy:
LOL!!! Sean Hannity needs to DIVORCE his wife, Jill (Rhodes) Hannity (it was Jill's college roommate, a Republican Operative, who told me Sean is GAY AS A GOOSE), and settle down with a man -- or even a HAREM of men, it he needs that -- LOL!!!
And with the Los Angeles Blade, a respected gay publication, publishing the following -- AND NO MAJOR PRESS picking up on it -- I have to ASSUME that the American/CIA Press CONTINUES to protect high politicians from public disclosure of their GAY DALLIANCES, like they have Presidents Nixon, BOTH Bushes, and Obama -- and in fairness, they ALL KNEW of JFK's and Lyndon Johnson's frequent dalliances with women, as well.
But I have to ask, "TOO CLOSE TO HOME, all ye MARRIED JOURNALISTS???"
Now, in remembering the adventures I had with Chuck and Hilary of Whale's Tale, it is TIME for me to CLARIFY to them that I am NOT UPSET about the "darker-side" of that partnership, and so have contacted the office of Dr. Carole Kunkle-Miller, a psychologist in Pittsburgh, PA, who was and is still close to them, and verified Dr. Kunkle-Miller (whose apartment I have stayed in about 1974 -- with Chuck and Hilary, and Carole's husband to be, Richard Miller, an architect), Carole's email address.
So NEXT I will write to Carole -- especially since I told her recept who confirmed the email address, that I will do that within a day or two.

Interesting that she loves Kure Beach like I do, has roots in Rocky Point where my Baptist cousins, still addicted to Trump and disgraced former NC Republican State Senator Thom Goolsby, and DRUGS, my cousin's grandson dying in his sleep a year ago when NO ONE knew he was addicted.
Her one book is set in Chinquipin, NC, a tiny hamlet home to Randall Kenan, who APPEARS to be descended from the cook, pictured in the kitchen of Liberty Hall in Kenansville, very nearby.

Randall EXPOSED the foolishness of those in charge of the Sewanee Writers' Conference, where he has taught for YEARS, and it was University of the South, with the Republican Party, CIA, and FBI that murdered Tennessee Williams -- to steal his estate from Harvard -- just like Jackie Kennedy Onassis warned Tenn and me on 1/11/1092 -- WHOOPS!!!: 1982.
And in ANOTHER Wilmington Star News article about the conviction of a convict who escaped the County Jail, is a video having NOTHING to do with that, but showing Gov. Roy Cooper filing into (or out of), a semi-private meeting regarding Wilmington's own FLINT MICHIGAN WATER SCANDAL of DuPont/Chemours GenX chemicals in our drinking water, and while Mr. Cooper has narco-trafficked with my Kenan Family that RULES North Carolina (and rules Donald Trump), so have Mayor Bill Saffo, New Hanover County Commissioner Rob Zapple (or maybe it's Skip Watkins, who looks like his twin), and Susi Hamilton, until recently our NC State Representative, now on Gov. Cooper's Cabinet.
