Neither of Wilmington's two daily Newspapers, print and/or online, reported on the Board of Governor's meeting yesterday -- in their emailed stories -- about what to do with Silent Sam on UNC's main campus, but the above graphic and story were the SECOND biggest story on Huffington Post when I got up. Reading it, you see it STILL can be put back -- and NO DETAILS on that meeting.
This report on the meetings yesterday is DIFFICULT to read and make sense of -- not because of poor writing, but because EVERYONE seems to be confused, but shuttling this off to a mid-November (post election-day), deadline for a decision -- and INCLUDING student opinions, seems to me an ADMISSION that they will NOT return Silent Sam to his old place or one so prominent, but NOW they need TIME to SAVE FACE -- LOL!!!

I woke up this morning to a LONG power blackout, that was not ended until the Kenan-Family-Researcher from Louisville, Kentucky and I had nearly completed our 55-minute phone call, so I had no access to most of my information, but didn't really need it then.

Because when they came to America in the 1730s the Kenans were Presbyterian, then most became Episcopal soon after causing the Wilmington Insurrection of 1898:

In the Kenan Genealogies, NONE of James's descendants other than his five children are even NAMED, let alone described, and in the 1999 updated book, the SAME is true for Frank's descendants, except Thomas S. Kenan III -- who is GAY AS A GOOSE and has no children. His full brother Owen, died EARLY, but his children aren't even NAMED!!!
Anyway, this Trust is funding community redevelopment in Louisville by another group that appears to be led by a BLOOD KENAN of different surname, and she wonders if they have GOOD intentions for the Community, or are just trying to MAKE MORE MONEY for the Kenans.
I don't know enough about it, BUT I was DISTURBED when two weeks ago I got an email from Kenan Institute Asia (still the world's LARGEST privately-funded NGO, I believe):

The problem here is that while Kenans don't CONTROL Coca-Cola, they have one of the largest blocks of stock -- and own MANY local bottlers -- so they SEEM to be using their Charitable Foundation to INCREASE PROFITABILITY of their OWN BUSINESS!!!
And is SUGARCANE such a NUTRITIOUS CROP to grow???
Several months ago, many in the Press reported that the CHARITIES funded by BIG OIL were influencing Major American Universities by forcing the schools to use the money to finance ANTI-GLOBAL WARMING professors.
The Rockefellers and THEIR Charities DIVESTED of carbon-energy stocks YEARS ago, leaving only the REPUBLICAN KENANS to be the GIANT PLAYERS in this -- and the PRESS all knew that, but the CIA (apparently), would not let them NAME THE KENANS!!!

And in OTHER NEWS, last night "Jim" from apartment 1 here came down to borrow a baking sheet to bake cookies on, and all I had was the one that fits in my TOASTER OVEN -- HARDLY big enough to bake more that six medium-sized confections on, but he borrowed it.
I did not ASK if he and his roommate, Aaron Gallimore, had managed to get their WATER turned back on -- but he didn't ask to crap in my toilet, so maybe so.
"Jim" has NOT said a thing or acted at all annoyed with me since he came down a week ago and asked me to call him "Jim" in this blog, as people were making FUN OF HIM because I blogged about all the pot he sells.
As I pointed out to READERS (but not Jim), the "neighbors" who did that did it IN FRONT OF the live Audio-Video Feed to Sheriff Ed McMahon's DETECTIVES -- LOL!!!
And I -- after a twenty minute hold to speak with anyone -- got hold of the Billing Office of New Hanover Regional Physician Group, and the very helpful woman looked into WHY I am still being billed over $300.00 for a charge they FORGAVE several weeks ago. She was able first to see the charge, then research elsewhere and report that it WAS forgiven a while back, and as I waited on the phone, she UPDATED "My Chart", run by Epic Systems:
