I haven't yet heard from Kevin, and will call him after the weekend, if I still have not.
Well, both today and yesterday, I drove downtown to see how the homeless population (many of whom I know), have been faring as things shut down. I saw very few of them -- and NONE whom I know. I hope they are safe, but can't imagine where they are staying -- homeless shelters were full BEFORE this happened -- and I've seen MANY Charities BEGGING for food on Facebook -- and other items, since with restaurants and others shutting down their contributions have fallen WAY OFF!!!
In my neighborhood, the woman who was to close on the house across the street, yesterday, was sitting on her new porch late this afternoon, and she said the New Hanover Courts are a TOTAL MESS, and her closing is now scheduled for Tuesday, so she's imagining how to organize the new house.
She also said that she had EXPECTED to be laid off by Cape Fear Community College, yesterday, but she STILL HAS HER JOB!!!
Chad Wagner's parents (in their late 80s), who live near Lake Lure, NC, are staying in his second house that he usually rents on Air B&B, and have been here for five days. I walked down and spoke with them about noon today, and they had NO IDEA that Trump was about to speak. But Chad never told them how to use the TV in that house, so they never watch it, and are concerned about so many places "out West" having gone under Martial Law and the Government is not letting people go to church.
They said they like NOTHING BETTER than to hear how Donald Trump is DEFEATING SOCIALISM, and I explained that Trump plans to give everyone not too rich about $1,000.00, and that TRUMP is now the TOP SOCIALIST in the US Government!!!
So, I went back home and caught most of that presser, and went back to report it to them -- but they had disappeared inside.
And Robert James McKinney's father (who owns Jet-Mulch), pulled up and went inside Rob's apartment. The LAST time he did that, he and Rob filled SEVERAL HUGE TRASH BAGS with the trash and garbage that covers all of Rob's floors and counters. The STENCH is overpowering when you walk in his door -- and Rob STILL has no water or trash service -- LOL!!!
Just now, I went to Fox News online -- the ONLY place I saw anything reported specifically of what is being done for those like me who are on Social Security:

Today's "Search Keywords" were TOPPED by people searching for "Richard Burr" -- and even FOX NEWS is calling for my CRIMINAL SENATOR to resign!!!
And googling for info on "Vagina Devil", the SECOND most used search-word, I found the following:
