And in regard to our North Carolina Primary Election, early voting soon to end, I am glad I voted the way I did: Cheri Beasley for US Senate, and in the three local multiple-choice races, I voted for ALL BUT Julia Olson-Boseman, Ed McMahon, and Nelson Beaulieu.
I EXPECT Ed McMahon to win the Primary for Sheriff -- he's the BIGGEST LAW-ENFORCEMENT CROOK in town (bigger than D.A. Benjamin R. David, Mayor "Bill" Saffo and Councilman Charlie Rivenbark, etc.), but he has the BEST PERSONAL PR of all politicians here -- he's as generally beloved as Colin Powell was.

OK, in Behind the Candelabra, Michael Douglas and Matt Damon -- neither known for having a thing for guys -- were FEARLESS in the most intimate love scenes, and so were Rob Lowe, Debbie Reynolds, Dan Ackroyd, and others -- all playing BIZARRE ROLES like no one has seen them in, before.
And there were a "million" parallels to my own life and experience, but FUNNIEST is the use of cosmetic surgery -- like my old "boyfriend" Marc LaFont of Santa Ana, California, who after spying for my mother on my first cousin Janet "Jan" (Meyer) Opperman and her husband Kim Opperman -- who lived on S. Birch Street with adjacent backyards that had a stile over the fence -- behind Marc.
Marc controlled me for my mother for YEARS!!!
More recently, they got PLASTIC SURGERY to much of Marc's face, and he doesn't even look HUMAN!!!
So, this morning, while speaking with Mom, we discussed the BIZARRE LIFE and INCREDIBLE TALENT of Liberace -- and how outrageous that he got away with claiming he was not gay and just had not yet found the right woman -- while being the MOST FLAMBOYANTLY GAY ENTERTAINER -- at least during our lives.
Ninety-nine-year-old Mom said she hasn't voted yet, and is not certain she will. She gets no news now except from Fox News or other TV News, and said she will die soon, and she should not vote for people who will be in charge after she dies.
FOOLISHLY, I disagreed -- we were all brought up that voting is an OBLIGATION.
But Mom said her BIGGEST CONCERN TODAY is that Left-Wingers have been protesting at Supreme Court Justices' houses. Now, for well over a year, Trump-Nuts, Conservative "Christians", and similar have been protesting all over the NATION, and many have been arrested for threatening Democrats and Republicans -- often carrying guns and explosives -- who REFUSED to overturn the 2020 election.
Mom seemed UNAWARE of anything like that having happened!!!
Some of them have already been CONVICTED and are in prison.

And NOW, Mom is at a public grade school in Knightdale, North Carolina -- two tables of geriatric Bridge Players. They have played there for at least 15 years, but got word they are KICKED OUT at the end of this month -- because some other group offered the school MONEY to let them use the space at that time.
One member has found a free place where they can move to, and someone to move them for FREE (five of them including my mother have special chairs that they keep there with extra padding since their walkers are NOT CONFORTABLE to sit on for so long).
But Mom says so many of them go in and out of semi-attention, that she's not sure they will continue to play, anyway -- Oy VEY!!!
And the GOOD NEWS is that I had a long discussion with Jack from upstairs, and he is taking ONE COLLEGE CLASS: Calculus, but only getting a "C" so far. I didn't think to ask him what he needs Calculus for -- that's getting quite Math-Specialized. That is the EXACT EDUCATION PATTERN of Ryan Lee Burris, then 3rd Vice Chair of New Hanover County Democrats -- while he was a HUGE DRUG TRAFFICKER partnered with then Republican NC State Senator Thom Goolsby.
As long as Rahm Emanuel -- who with FACEBOOK, my Kenan Family's Exxon-Mobil, Bank of America, Kenan Advantage Group, Coca-Cola, etc., and VLADIMIR PUTIN is STILL CONTROLLING JOE BIDEN, JOE MANCHIN, and NANCY PELOSI, we will NEVER, EVER get back to CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY!!!
