Two of the state’s largest districts, Edmond in suburban Oklahoma City and Bixby in suburban Tulsa, said they have no plans to show students the video. At this age, I really didn’t give much thought to the idea of manscaping. Wasn’t part of my world. Young guys did that, hairy gorilla guys did that, guys too obsessed with Instagram fashion trends did that.

I never heard the term manscaping until I was in my sixties. But one day, having stripped naked for a shower, I made the mistake of looking down. I didn’t like what I saw. A tangled mess of unsightly, long, scraggly gray pubic hairs. I had what could only be described as an Albert Einstein scrotum.
