While it's true that C-SPAN was filming, the the two other news organizations that were BARRED (including the ALREADY PROPERLY CREDENTIALED ABC News crew), wanted higher resolution video than C-SPAN can provide. This is primarily a matter of press intimidation that has been growing and recently caused the United States to slip from a ranking of 20th to 47th place in the world for Press Freedoms.

I could find NO reporting of this incident on the websites of the MAJOR MAINSTREAM news organizations, but it is ALL OVER THE INTERNET!!!
