Sounds
like TYPICAL NORTH CAROLINA stupidity due to OVER-EMPHASIS on secrecy
and DRAMA. I'm not condoning or condemning anyone or anything. I just
feel certain the truth will be stranger than fiction when it comes out. I
hope Thomas S. Kenan III, who now runs
the bulk of Kenan companies and charities is NOT made a fool for
supporting Edwards. Tom is NOT known for being stupid.
Also, one of my nemeses, the Durham artist Rafael Cherry, was very TIGHT with Elizabeth Edwards. She bought much of his (very fine in my opinion) artwork and in Edwards' FIRST run for President, insisted that Rafael design John Edwards' campaign posters. This PROVED TO ME that Elizabeth was CRAZY. See Rafael's artwork here. It is NOT the type work that would be good for campaign posters!!!:

Also know that Rafael Cherry is known about the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area as THE TRUMAN CAPOTE OF NORTH CAROLINA. He first cultivated cozy relationships with all the Old Dowagers -- including Betty Kenan (wife of the late Frank Hawkins Kenan, Frank now deceased, and mother of Thomas S. Kenan III), then after he had achieved some success (with their help) turned on them in a total BITCH FEST. They abandoned him.
Rafael teased me sexually over MANY years (1991 - 2009) -- NEVER once achieving an orgasm for EITHER of us, although he even entered me several times. Instead (entered by "back door"), he'd just start GOSSIPING in the most petty, disgusting ways AGAINST ABSOLUTELY ALL his friends. It was TOO much of a turn-off to me and I'd make him exit. I admit to having been "addicted" to the stunning beauty of his body (NOT face) and cock -- and bamboozled by his "impressive high-end gossip".
But Rafael was ALSO a HUGE champion of his alma mater, Sewanee THAT I ONLY LATER LEARNED WAS A MAJOR PLAYER IN THE MURDER OF MY FORMER BOSS PLAYWRIGHT TENNESSEE WILLIAMS THROUGH THE AGENCY OF JOHN UECKER WITH THE HELP OF MY OWN MOTHER -- WHO THEN STILL HAD ME FALSELY ON LITHIUM TO KEEP ME STUPID.
Rafael was in fact controlling me for the Sewanee/Episcopal Church/Republican Party forces that had allied and not only MURDERED TENNESSEE WILLIAMS, but STOLE his estate from Harvard University DESPITE Jackie Kennedy Onassis's successful attempt to get TW to write the codicil to his will WHICH SEWANEE ALLIES MARIA ST. JUST AND TW's OWN LAWYER JOHN EASTMAN bribed TW's maid Leoncia McGee, Schuyler Wyatt, Gary Tucker to LIE that TW was incompetent when he signed the codicil.
I am getting away from it -- but this illustrates the kind of people Elizabeth Edwards had as her closest friends. I believe she was a FAKE "nice person". This does NOT necessarily mean John Edwards is innocent -- but with Tommy Kenan having supported him -- and ALL I KNOW ABOUT RAFAEL CHERRY -- i believe this trial is going to blow up into a HUGE SCANDAL with the LOSER being Elizabeth Edwards (God rest her pea-pickin' soul!!!)
