I would protect Jamie Sutherland (and Andrew Emerson Cook of Saper Law), ALMOST as much as I would protect John Uecker, whom I knew in early 1980s and KNOW he fundamentally loves Tennessee Williams -- there has NEVER been a question in my mind about THAT!!!
I do not even know where to begin, but Julie at "front desk" at Atlantic Theater was a TOTAL HOOT to talk to this morning -- and she's agreed to forward this right to you in Good Ol' Columbus, Mississippi where you are to or have spoken at the Tennessee Williams Festival -- BRAVO!!!

I was Tennessee Williams' last significant assistant, serving him from early November 1981 - two days after A HOUSE MEANT TO FALL CORRECTED: A HOUSE NOT MEANT TO STAND (and it is MORE timely today than in 1982!!!), opened at the Goodman, late April 1982. Gregory Mosher so respected my handling things that he had a CUSTOMIZED poster of that play made from him and the staff and players to me, thanking me. I have kept loosely in contact with Gregory over the years, seeing him in person at both the New Orleans TW Fest, and at the Cathedral St. John the Divine investiture ceremony when Tom got his "Poet's Stone".
I know nearly EVERYONE in the Williams Scholar field -- but you MIGHT get some wildly varied opinions from them about ME (and if you know her, of the famous people I knew back then, I knew and "partied" with Meryl Streep (and Don), the most, although I have NOT kept up with her at all, I'm assured by one of her friends she does indeed remember me. I'm 6' 11" tall, so "noticeable"). The problem is my POLITICS.

It was John Uecker who -- just like me -- acknowledged to me in 2009, that Schuyler Wyatt ALSO told him that it was a "high-ranking Republican in the Tennessee State Legislature" who supplied him and Gary Tucker with the cash to fuel their LUXURIOUS LIFESTYLE in Atlanta (where I lived 1983 - 2010), where I frequently saw them in bars. And STRANGELY ENOUGH, Skye Wyatt had ABANDONED his two baby daughters and just "RUN OFF" TO KEY WEST where he met Gary sometime between the production of Tiger Tail at the Alliance Theater, and when I met them -- Gary actually working for me as a bartender in the restaurant I managed, until it "mostly collapsed" due to cocaine and under-investment, primarily (the space is now the FLAGSHIP Jimmy Buffet's Margarittaville restaurant, but GARY introduced me indirectly to Tennessee, whom I soon thereafter began working for. Interestingly, Skye Wyatt's two daughters found ME in the mid oughts, and we still stay in contact. In the last years, the two gorgeous girls have been traveling the world semi-luxuriously, with NO APPARENT REASON for them to have money, suddenly.
Perhaps you know of Edith Love who graduated Denison University 1972 -- one year ahead of me. After running the Alliance for YEARS, she ran theaters in Austin, TX and Portland, OR. Edith was part of a group of six of us at Denison who remained close friends through our college careers -- in fact, if I were straight and Edith were perhaps a little less girthy, then, we would likely have married. Edith actually in a "strange moment" proposed marriage TO me right before she graduated, but we both knew that would be silly. She's retired and living in Michigan and easy to find her phone number if you care to ask HER.
And RECENTLY, I have publicly apologized on blog to John Lahr (who gave MY Williams memoir a RAVE and whom I've had quite a few email and phone conversations with over the years), because he is writing a MAJOR BIO, and I am the BIGGEST fly-in-the-ointment to Sewanee, The Episcopal Church, and the Republican Party (and NOW I rival Edward Snowden as enemy of CIA/NSA!!!), so my blog has caused him at least CONSTERNATION.

When Patricia Sinatra heard my LAST NAME, I could not shut her up for THREE HOURS -- especially after I told her I had PROMISED Jackie Kennedy Onassis that I would eventually GET PRESIDENT KENNEDY's REVENGE!!!
