Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus (519 BC – 430 BC) was a Roman aristocrat and statesman whose service as consul in 460 BC and dictator in 458 BC and 439 BC made him a model of civic virtue.[1]
Cincinnatus was regarded by the Romans, especially the aristocratic patrician class, as one of the heroes of early Rome and as a model of Roman virtue and simplicity.[2] He was a persistent opponent of the plebeians.[2] When his son was convicted and condemned to death, Cincinnatus was forced to live in humble circumstances, working on his own small farm, until an invasion caused him to be called to serve Rome as dictator, an office which he immediately resigned after completing his task of defeating the rivaling tribes of the Aequians, Sabines, and Volscians.


His immediate resignation of his absolute authority with the end of the crisis has often been cited as an example of outstanding leadership, service to the greater good, civic virtue, lack of personal ambition and modesty. As a result, he has inspired a number of organizations and other entities, many of which are named in his honor.

1. I've had to ask that the last few days as they are discussed like something I NEVER remembered them to be -- and WELL REMEMBER the joy we all shared the day they were "declared" by the Supreme Court.


The Court AFFIRMED rights that REMAIN CONSTANT for at least American Citizens while in the United States. The previous abuse had been that Law Enforcement had ABUSED these rights of detainees who were too IGNORANT to know they ALREADY POSSESSED those rights -- rights that CAN NEVER BE TAKEN AWAY from ANY US Citizen.


2. The reading of these rights became declared by Court Decision to be necessary at ALL ARRESTS as soon as PRACTICAL.


3. The Rights of any Citizen are ALWAYS to include "Miranda Rights". The reading is a REMINDER -- and has NOTHING to do with the professional behavior of Police Officers who are ALSO bound at ALL times to respect those rights of ALL US Citizens.


4. Apparently, recently or recently-ish, some Court has CREATED an UN-CONSTITUTIONAL DEVICE out of the previous Judgement of Court. This was a surprise-then-SHOCK, quite recently, to ME!!!

    6. This morning, John Berman (who has the SNEARING LIPS and "fey" attitude of a CLOSET-CASE FAGGOT), on CNN "Satrting Point" interviewed Sen. James Risch (ID Republican) on the investigation into the FBI FAIL on info sent the USA by Russia. Sen. RISCH tried to make the EXTREMELY IMPORTANT POINT that the MANY communications from Russia are (in HIS word), "conclusatory", presumably meaning they were JUDGEMENTS of the evidence the Russians had rather than FACTS of the brother's WORDS and ACTIONS, so NOT as helpful as would have been preferred for PRACTICAL reasons to the USA.


    But John Berman CUT THE SENATOR OFF deliberately, RE-CHARACTERIZED his words to support the "NAZI line", leaving Sen. Risch shaking his head in frustration. I think this shows that although ALL GOP Senators and Congresspeople have VOTED AS THE NAZI BLOCK many times, SOME are not FULLY NAZI.


    This gives me GREAT HOPE that we can make more progress BEFORE the 2014 elections!!!
