Jonathan Coppedge-Henley Great article with one massive problem for you and me: the denomination we work for means no UMC is LGBTQ friendly by the simple litmus test the writers gave. Does this zero-sum examination mean you and I have to simply answer “no” to questions about gay clergy or weddings? Or is there a qualifier that possibly makes us legit? I’m not asking for friend but for me.

Scott Kenan Jonathan Coppedge-Henley: Since FB friending Brett Webb-Mitchell 6 - 9 months ago, I've been impressed that he is of the best intentions to find Truth, but a few days ago, I challenged him with a question he did not bother to answer that gets to the heart of the matter. THAT FB thread I republished on my blog and my blog has had nearly 1.5 million hits so far, so it has been widely read by Law Enforcement, Press, and friends of Tennessee Williams, whom I once worked for -- ESPECIALLY read in North Carolina where I work with top State Prosecutors and the FBI exposing the crimes of my Kenan Family in the Name of Jesus Christ. I live in Wilmington, and I see you live in Charlotte, and graduated Duke. I KNOW my wealthy relatives who even today (Episcopal and all Klan members or sympathizers according to their friends now, but Kenans traditionally were Presbyterians -- and I was brought up devout Catholic with Swastikas on our dinner plates). The Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke is the ONLY Kenan thing I associate with now. Anyway, you, too, might be interested in how that landed on my blog -- and this posting was corrupted but not too badly by those that have been hounding me online for YEARS, but worth a look, I hope. Also, Brett and our mutual friend Mitchell Gold of years and from NC (whose words are ALSO in this posting), while I was typing just above LIKED this Meme I had posted on his FB -- after adding these words: "To pray other than in Gratitude or Affirming that you are guided by Universal Intelligence and Love is to claim God is NOT as smart or caring as you -- LOL!!! That is DEVIL-PRAYING, and only by those who are Devil-Possessed (the great majority of those in religions). Brett Webb-Mitchell Sadly, the other denominations or Christian church that must be included in the anti-LGBTQ+ movement are, of course, the Roman Catholic Church, and the Southern Baptist.
