Thom Goolsby, today: “We are now in a situation where it does not matter who the candidate is at this point, given the complete breakdown of trust the board, the legislature and, l believe, the general public has in your (Board Chair Fennebresque) leadership,” Goolsby wrote. “You are doing a grave disservice to the University and your candidate by moving forward tomorrow. No matter how qualified, anyone advanced under your chairmanship would be fruit from a poisonous tree."
Now, I don't have a dog in this hunt -- because I have little idea what it is over, and Mr. Goolsby has to be correct about SOMETHING (now and then), right??? But if no one on EARTH has confidence in the guy, they could have simply removed him by SOME device. Instead, they are BULLYING HIM (in the name of Jesus, I bet -- actually KNOWING Thom and his family).
And that last sentence that I just hi-lighted in yellow, is so HATEFUL and VENOMOUS -- that even a PERFECTLY QUALIFIED PERSON would be "fruit from a poisonous tree" -- ONLY due to Fennebresque's nomination!!! -- PROVES that Thom Goolsby is bound to the DEVIL.
This reminds me of my blog tit-fer-tat with the little Senator in 2011. You can see Goolsby's reasoning and bullying (in the comments back and forth between us, Goolsby impersonating a kindly Granny, living on his street), is milder, but he's gotten EMBOLDENED by his being forced to resign from the Senate in a big FINANCIAL SCANDAL.
What does Thom Goolsby have to lose NOW??? His wife divorced him and ran off with hunky Tod Toconis from across the street and Town & Country Real Estate!!!
It's remarkable how today's surgeons (and stylists) can make the tissues around a sphincter muscle look like a North Carolina State Senator!!!
I LOVE the eyelid waves, echoed in the hair. Reminds me of our "Wave Transportation" that Sen. Goolsby likely never rides . . .

I hope they all settle down and have an ADULT conversation. As I said, I don't know the issues enough to comment on that, but can't ABIDE Lucifer licking at UNC Chapel Hill, where my sister Jane and nephew Connor got their undergraduate degrees. My niece Taylor is a senior there, this year (and there are two UNC Wilmington degrees in my immediate family as well).
