My Landlady, Gold Walker, called this morning to say that she has heard from one of her Contractors -- as well as from a relative -- that I have blogged that she sells drugs, and that she is a "whore"!!!
I told her I am aware that I have sometimes gotten over-excited and in my anger, flung some accusations at people who did not deserve them. I apologized profusely, and told Gold I would search my blog postings and remove any that made these claims about her. I just spent three hours searching, and on the first seven pages of Google results of searching Gold's name in Wilmington, I found five that accused her of drug trafficking -- and I only found one where I referred to her as a whore.
I deleted them from BOTH my Original and my Mirror blogs -- and there were several others where I was highly complimentary of Gold -- she once called me "King Midas" because her former property manager of just a few of her rentals, Jonathan Deputy (who really IS a Republican Drug Trafficker and had placed Drug Dealers in some of Gold's apartments), ran off saying he was "afraid" of me -- my blogging about his crimes, really. Jon had once hit me in the stomach saying he would beat me up if I blogged about him again. And he had been trying to convince me to move OUT the whole time he managed the building I lived in. He claimed Gold told him to do that, but Gold said she never did.
And then Gold advertised her short-term-rental condo on Carolina Beach herself -- and at the same rental fee, made $20,000.00 MORE in one year!!!
This has been very embarrassing to me, but it is actually perfect to do this NOW -- since the last couple of months I've been in serious self-examination about my blogging and its effects.
I ask anyone who feels I have misrepresented them, to contact me and let me know how and WHERE (it really helps if you can sent me a link to my posting or date it was from).
This is also a good time to let anyone know that if they want to NOT RECEIVE my blog via email, to contact me and I'll take you off my list.

I'm pretty sure I'm correct to say that the Head of the Post Office during Donald Trump's FIRST TERM, Louis DeJoy, had fired many postal workers and had destroyed many automatic sorting machines (so someone could not later use them). This was part of Trump's efforts to SLOW THE MAILS so that many mailed ballots (mostly from Dems, he presumed), and come in too late to be counted.
As has recently been reported in the news, Trump recently ordered that mail be post-marked when it gets its first sorting -- rather than when it is picked up by the Post Office. That way, he can have held all mailed ballots (easy to identify by their size and markings), BEFORE they get zip-code-sorted, and then get a late postmark, so not be counted -- this for heavily minority neighborhoods.
Many of us wondered why Joe Biden did not fire DeJoy (he resigned March 24, 2025 -- after Trump was again in office), but UNLIKE TRUMP, Biden followed the LAW, and let the heads of Independent Agencies work out their Legal Terms -- without his interference.
Gold said she had NOT gotten my rent check by yesterday (Feb. 9), from Benefits Management, Inc. -- which is in the SAME ZIP CODE as she is -- but I should not yet call them about it. This happened a month or two ago, and I got my agent there to cut another check, which I hand-delivered -- and then the mailed one came the next day!!!
Gold already understood that Teri can't send out checks until she gets the money transferred from Social Security, which means they should be mailed out from Teri no later than the 3rd of each month. So, this is six days for mail to move IN THE SAME ZIP CODE!!!
Things my brother, who lives in a Philadelphia suburb, mails me have been taking six to seven days to arrive (they used to take three, at most), and just now, I got mail from Wilmington -- but not my zip code -- that was postmarked Feb. 5 and it arrived Feb. 10.
