Bill Maher devoted his final "new rule" rant to the insanity going on in North Carolina, a state that had been trending blue until a certain wealthy conservative moved the ball in the other direction.
And what's that agenda? Just your garden variety anti-woman, anti-voting rights, anti-union buffet.
But if one rich conservative can bend an entire state to his will, Maher suggested fighting fire with fire. "Come on rich liberals, pony up!"
He then basically put Jay-Z on the spot as being the perfect person to buy the state. "If there's anyone out there who's done it all and is looking for some new thing to brag about, own a state, it's my fate, it's great... I'm just saying the rhymes practically write themselves."
