As a North Carolina KENAN -- I am now prepared to announce TOTAL KENAN VICTORY!!!

Kenan -- the family whose early member Gen. James Kenan led the FIRST armed resistance to the Crown over the hated Stamp Act on the banks of the Cape Fear River here in Wilmington, NC (Yankees won the Civil War so wrote us out of the history books in favor of the LATER Boston Tea Party), later co-founded UNC, then inherited both Henry Flagler's 2/3 control of Standard Oil Trust fortune (he, not Rockefeller founded the company) as well as Flagler's Florida Development fortune, AND Frank Hawkins' (the man who put the Phoenix in Atlanta) Coca-Cola, banking, and other interests -- eventually to put together the modern Bank of America (yeah, I know, BoA has problems, but Kenan Charitable Trusts ownership of the largest chunk of it is JUST A DROP IN THE KENAN MONEY BUCKET, so no matter what happens there, Kenan is doing just fine!!! Think control of ExxonMobil, Coca-Cola, Chevron, BoA, many Florida utilities, railroads, etc., etc., etc. . .)

The Kenan Family has QUIETLY been the biggest supporter in the World of University Education, Liberty for ALL, and now expanding to support the Arts more than before. Thomas S. Kenan III's (Tommy is now Family Leader of the Kenan Companies and Charitable Trusts. I once "shared" a boyfriend with him and he sent 60 MINUTES to Puerto Vallarta Mexico to get MY story) own Charitable Trust is currently preserving all the native languages and cultures in Latin America.

Well, if Obama wants to move the last day of the convention to BoA Stadium -- and does it -- I'd say the Clintons are FINALLY making him act like an ACTUAL Democrat rather than Trojan Horse Republican he's mostly acted like. We'll see. I'm still tending for Ron Paul who, unlike Obama, has REAL, over-time Integrity.
