Don't count your "blessings" too quickly. The only reason Mitt Romney is calling for a National Constitutional Amendment blocking it is he knows equal rights under the Constitution means EXACTLY THAT, and conservative scholars believe many of the conservatives on the Court would probably see it that way as well as the liberals.
A test is likely to hit the US Supreme Court within 12 - 18 months.
But with a QUICKLY GROWING 52% of Americans now IN SUPPORT of marriage equality, passing an amendment (requires 2/3 majority in Congress + plus ratification of 2/3 of the states) is all but impossible.
As Freedoms continue to bloom in the United States, people like you (if you continue to lie to yourself) will eventually feel they have to move to some country ruled by a leader more like themselves -- like a blood-thirsty Dictator -- probably by then, available only in deepest, dark Africa.
On the other hand, you might just surrender to what God calls you to (LOVE), and express it givingly with whomever you actually love. When that happens, the yoke of mean-spiritedness that has been souring your life for so many years now will be lifted, and you will rejoin God's People in Health, Happiness, and Prosperity.
I was impressed that you used NO HATEFUL language in this latest message to me, so want to congratulate you on your personal progress!!!
