We're having fun (although these gals MIGHT not actually be Mexican).
>>>: PHOTOS OF WHERE I MIGHT MOVE IN LATE OCTOBER: (Boca de TOMATLAN)
SECOND half of bridge over Rio TOMATLAN to the community where I might live. The first half is narrower, longer, and has NO handrails. there is NO way to take a car over the river -- but the trail from here to the beach at Los Amiales (20 - 40 minutes, depending) is rife with exotic birds, iguanas, tarantulas, orchids, wild boar, deer, and buffalo -- allegedly. The building shown is a hotel.
Boca residents walking up-river in the wider channel of the river (which is split here by an island with camp and party sites), rather than the main-side road in deference to yesterday's heat. Main-side end of the rail-less footbridge is seen far left.
Although the house I'm looking at that is less than 10 years old has two bedrooms, two baths, satellite TV, and JET-BLAST air conditioning, THIS house next door to it is the home of a "single" scuba-diver of the MANLY persuasion!!!
Chickens roosting in a copse of bamboo a couple of blocks from "my house". There are NO white chickens in Mexico (but SOME can clearly be seen to be "hen-pecked")!!!
Kids playing on a modern shipwreck at Playa Boca de TOMATLAN, three blocks from my possible home.
A local SAINT.
