The WORD!!!

Once again, Barach Obama's EXCELLENT graphics team has made a NOTHING STATEMENT look like a SOMETHING STATEMENT. Four years ago, it was the "Audacity of HOPE." The only thing audacious about hope (belief that something is quite possible -- but not likely anytime soon) is in thinking THAT self-defeating affirmation is AUDACIOUS!!!

Now THAT's a DEFINITE STATEMENT (no matter what you think about it). President Obama IS improving, but he is NOT yet fully an adult man.

>>> BEFORE GETTING TO TODAY'S NEWS -- some of it MOST EXCITING -- let me explain Quetzalcoatl's VERY REAL concerns (and thank him for deigning to post on this blog!!!):

Let's review (yes, of course this has been posted before), the steps from Depression (the most common state of consciousness of Humans (post animal, pre artist), to full creative partnership with THIS THING CALLED GOD:

Definition of Depression, the absolute LOWEST state of human consciousness that usually results in sadness or a sense of powerlessness: The sensing or belief that there are THREE roles in life and playing different ones of those three as it suits you (the purpose being -- usually subconsious -- of avoiding responsiblity for one's life) variously: The Victim, The Perpetrator, and The Rescuer (aka Savior).

And THAT's really ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THAT!!!

Even REVENGE (one step up from ANGER, the first step up as you rise toward a higher consciousness) is a higher state because although there is SERIOUS danger here of VIOLENCE, at least you begin to feel that sweet breath of air of TAKING BACK CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE.

Of course no one wants to stop there, and it is best to continue on through (skipping some here) OVERWHELMMENT (very popular!!!), to HOPE (the lowest of the "positive" states), then FAITH/BELIEF, and eventually KNOWING, which plugs you into ALL "GOD'S" GIFTS.

Thanks SO MUCH Carrie -- you are a TRUE JEW. LOL!!! (I don't know if you are Jewish or not, but seems to me, all real New Yorkers ARE Jews at heart).

I take it this address is the one I should use -- and I believe it's the one I used before, often with Jim (whose not good at hi-res scanning of Polaroid photos -- a scan that was lost with stolen computers and hard drives, LOL!!!) taking care of correspondence. And CLEARLY, I will need to use a DIFFERENT approach when emailing ALL my GMAIL contacts that does not include ABSOLUTELY everyone -- and is an easy thing to do -- now that I have a real reason to do it. Given all I've shared with you, I think ALL understand that I understand Mark's need for some privacy and discretion. I'm copying him here before some beach time -- and then Piers Morgan's interview with John McCain tonight.

That interview turned out badly at the BOTTOM LINE. Sen. McCain genuinely believes in AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM -- coded language for saying the culture of the WHITE EURO-AMERICANS is better than that of those they stole the country from -- to say nothing of everyone else's. Not too many decades ago, when the German People adopted this same belief -- although they were basically the ORIGINAL inhabitants of their country -- it was called NAZISM.

Piers Morgan did NOT press Sen. McCain at all, really -- and I would have handled it about the same (in deference to John McCain's suffering for his country -- see next paragraph when I get back to the email -- and often exemplary service). After the interview I would have privately talked up the joys of retirement.

I believe Sen. McCain is coming back to his senses, and while I often disagree with him, I've ALWAYS honored him for what he suffered at the hands of his captors during the Vietnam War. So that Mark and Jim get a taste of what my OWN distant Kenan relatives are doing in S.E. Asia (in seven countries) to make amends for the US Government's crimes, they might like to take a look at these two links:
