What is heartbreaking to ME about today's shooting in Atlanta, is that I visited MANY FRIENDS in both Northside and Grady Hospitals when they were dying of AIDS in the 1980s and 1990s. I know that area well, as it is near the condos and bungalows of many I knew as well -- and restaurants, parks, and bars I used to attend.
