What it reveals about Romney's supporters:
1. They are so stupid they would hold this against the GRANDSON -- as if Mitt had anything to do with it. I've never seen ANY evidence or even "loose claims" that Mitt is anything but a faithful heterosexual husband.
2. NO ONE in their right mind who has studied the tenants of Mormonism believes it is anything but a CULT -- much akin to Scientology. Christians who want to be kind and fair prefer to gloss over the issue. Evangelicals (who are a tad delusional in their own Christian flavor -- but NOTHING compared to Mormons) want to tear Romney and Mormonism (Moronism) down -- but they are the BACKBONE of Republican support in the South, especially.

Romney is already in serious trouble with Hispanics because he took a crazy, extreme position on immigration during the primary (deport even those who may have come here illegally 50 years ago who have children and grandchildren who are naturalized citizens). Romney will probably not choose to highlight his own family’s connection to Mexico as a way of reaching out to Hispanics, because that history involves a polygamy colony, which is something that Romney doesn’t like to discuss.

And this is the scenario my own mother RUTH ANNE (MEYER) KENAN of Castle Pines Drive in Raleigh, NC had planned out with the Pope some time ago.
Although I understood it little (and believed it possible even less) when Mom told me she was going to make Mitch Daniels President back when I saw her in December 2010 (and Gov. Mitch Daniels of Indiana not too long after that decided against running as well), THE FACT REMAINS that my parents are EXTRAORDINARILY POWERFUL in the Republican Party, and had been SO MUCH IN CHARGE of long-time Republican Senator Jesse Helms's career that I REMEMBER CLEAR AS A BELL THE DAY DAD GOT FED UP WITH SEN. HELMS AND DECIDED TO REMOVE HIM FROM THE SENATE!!!
Dad and I were in the living room watching one day when I was visiting them years ago watching FOX NEWS (of course), when Dad suddenly was severely displeased as they reported something Helms said or did (I wish I remembered what it was!!!).
Dad was so furious he jumped out of his chair and said, "That does it -- he's gone totally off the track. Jesse's GONE -- I'll destroy him."
And he WAS gone the next election cycle.

The Holtzes lived across the street from us.
And they were in the same DUPLICATE BRIDGE CLUB. My sister Jane used to babysit the Holtz kids, and often complained that even though they were all in grade school then, THEY WERE ALL STILL SHITTING THEIR PANTS!!!

Mom not only got Lou the head coaching position at Notre Dame (like she got her brother Robert J. Meyer, DDS the position of being the Fighting Irish's Official Dentist -- later murdering him after he allowed his daughter Janet (called Jan) to marry "The Jew", Kim Opperman, as well as discovering that Uncle Bob was at heart a homosexual (although he fathered THREE of the FOUR children he had during his marriage to Aunt Pat -- formerly Patricia Hawn of South Bend, now living in or near Dothan, AL), and when Aunt Pat found need of an ACTUAL heterosexual to fulfill her needs and ran off with a gym instructor ten years her junior, even showing up with him high on booze, marijuana, and cocaine in a shag-carpetted mini-van at her daughter Karen's first marriage. (and DAMN sentence structure for now!!!)
It was at Karen's FIRST of TWO marriages to the same man (and Aunt Pat divorced Uncle Bob eventually for the gym instructor, but later ran back to him. Mom had by then already secured an "annulment" from the Pope of Bob and Pat's original marriage, and Mom later got one for my sister Julie's husband to dissolve Joel Duffy's FIRST marriage so he can Julie could marry WHITELY in the Catholic Church -- despite all the years (back to Bob and Pat here) and progeny produced, and when Bob and Pat tried to get remarried in the Catholic Church -- THE CHURCH REFUSED TO MARRY THEM. HA!!!) that Jan first asked me in front of her WONDERFUL husband Kim whom I was meeting for the first time, "if it is true what my Dad told me that your (my) mother came to Karen's wedding BUT NOT MY OWN (Jan's) was that I married a Jew?"
Well, I was then SHOCKED because my mother had quasi-Liberal pretensions (even "working" for a time on Bobby Kennedy's Presidential Campaign as a volunteer -- I'D LOVE to know what mischief she caused there!!!). I confronted her and she FLEW to her brother's hotel room, FIXED him in the eye, and told him IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS that if he EVER said ANYTHING like that again, she'd brain him with a cast iron frying pan.
She didn't, but she had all his welath stripped from him, forced him to use the Veterans' Hospital, cooked up a "Mono-polar" diagnosis, and FORCED him to take DOUBLE-DOSE LITHIUM, which I have HER ORIGINAL NOTES IN HER HANDWRITING FROM SOME YEARS BEFORE THAT INDICATING THAT 1.5 Lithium Level causes "CHEMICAL DIABETES" -- which is what he slowly and painfully died of as his lower extremities were gradually chopped off, he a very BITTER man in his last years.

She and Dad ALSO controlled Patrick Stansbury of Pentagon Publishing, Inc. of Snellville, GA (my former employer who worked importing MEGA-TONS of illegal drugs via US Air Force planes through Maxwell AFB in Alabama -- although Patrick has been SUPERCEDED now by his Vice President Mike Massicott who was PROPERLY TRAINED in all things TRAITOROUS by AT&T's management training system).
Mom and Dad ALSO were instrumental in setting up Wilmington, NC as our nation's highest volume drug importation port while they lived here, and also played duplicate bridge with other NAZIs, some of whom were WHITE ESCAPEES from the end of Apartheid in South Africa who were FORBIDDEN by the new administration from taking their wealth out of that country, but Mom successfully set up a scheme of getting it out in VALUABLE ART PIECES -- WHICH SHE WAS STUPID ENOUGH TO BRAG TO ME ABOUT -- MANY TIMES!!!
