Miles Gaston Villanueva, shirtless, https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2740432/, played ME (although the character is named "Baby"), in Dotson Rader's play, God Looked Away, based on his 1985 book, Tennessee: Cry of the Heart.
I had NO IDEA of this when earlier today, I sent this letter to Dotson Rader via his agent, Anne Sibbald:
I had seen Dotson had premiered his play, based on his book, in Pasadena, California in February 2017, and that it had NOT made it to Broadway, as had been the intention, but Dotson was NOWHERE NEAR the opening of A House Not Meant to Stand at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago -- which this play is about, so I researched it AFTER sending my letter.
The LA TIMES review: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/arts/la-et-cm-god-looked-away-commentary-20170301-story.html
Jermaine Miles, not as well-known an actor, https://www.broadwayworld.com/people/Jermaine-Miles/, back row on far left, played the character Mac which was based on me.
Masks got about as bad a review, though -- LOL!!!
And if you want to read what REALLY HAPPENED, check out my three chapters dedicated to the play's production:
And NEVER FORGET, Tennessee Williams's best Key West/Houston friend, Kate (Schweppe) Sharp, Moldawer, and later McNamara -- here flanked by Tennessee and his sister, Rose -- was the MODEL for the character Babe, the wealthiest woman in the world.
Kate learned to behave that way growing up in Atlanta, when she and her parents were BEST FRIENDS with Frank Hawkins Kenan and James Graham Kenan and their families, before Frank and his brood moved to Durham, NC.
Frank Hawkins Kenan on left with "Uncle Jimmy" (James Graham Kenan).
Fairly recent shot of an Episcopalian sycophant, Frank's widow Betty (Price) Kenan, and Frank's son Thomas S. Kenan III
And NOW the wealthy Kenans have put Donald Trump into power to DESTROY DEMOCRACY for the Episcopal and all other Christian Churches.
I will INCLUDE Dotson Rader, his agent, and "Georges Borchardt" (and Gregory Mosher), when I mass-email this out to my Contacts -- so they SEE that I'm cool with ALL OF THIS.
