OK, the party is actually at my own rented house, which is a tad smaller and less formal. It is definitely BYOB, and we hope to serve donated hors de ouvres (hint: bring your own), or at least put out plates for them.
My house is located in what is now designated as "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood," as a Mr. Rogers, who is descended from the Sneedens who once owned Wrightsville Beach, Shell, and Figure Eight Islands, and his radio-personality girlfriend, have recently slept in my house (without "shenanigans"). They will be attending tonight. Invite is by serendipitous event, only.
We'll be celebrating our collective returns to apparent sanity, although we can offer no guarantees of such.
