“Cargo Cults” are in isolated areas such as Papua New Guinea, Fuji, and the Solomon and Oceania Islands, where undisturbed cultures build STRAW DUMMIES of what US Soldiers -- whom they considered to be GODS -- left behind after WWII -- to BRING the U.S. GODS BACK!!!
This story is weird, very weird, but when we consider that it occurred dozens of times, at dozens of locations, by dozens of separated and isolated groups with no contact with each other, most if not all speaking different languages, all within the last century or so, we must conclude that it is in fact, something quite normal for humans to do.
For you see, most, if not all societies and cultures have created gods who they then worship and serve. There have been thousands of them in history and as we will see, new ones are still being created, while older ones are completely redesigned.

(CNN) It was 230 years ago Sunday that Robert Carter III, the patriarch of one of the wealthiest families in Virginia, quietly walked into a Northumberland County courthouse and delivered an airtight legal document announcing his intention to free, or manumit, more than 500 slaves.
He titled it the "deed of gift." It was, by far, experts say, the largest liberation of Black people before the Emancipation Proclamation more than seven decades later.
On September 5, 1791, when Carter delivered his deed, slavery was an institution, a key engine of the new country's economy. But many slaveholders -- including founding fathers George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison, who knew Carter -- had begun to voice doubts.
That was the extent of their umbrage.

My Great-Grandfather, Murphy Kenan, a physician's Assistant in Burgaw, NC saved up for several years, bought a married Slave Pair -- and IMMEDIATELY GRANTED THEM FREEDOM -- yet he was QUICK TO ENLIST for the South -- and his big toe was shot off in Virginia.

(CNN) President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will travel to all three sites of the 9/11 terrorist attacks next Saturday, marking the 20th anniversary of the deadly day, the White House said in a statement Saturday.
The President and first lady will visit New York City, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia.
Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff will travel to Shanksville, the site of the United Flight 93 crash, for a separate event, before joining the President and first lady at the Pentagon.
Last year, Biden visited the 9/11 memorial in New York before visiting the memorial in Shanksville.
The White House has not said yet if Biden will make remarks.
Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama will attend the remembrance ceremony in New York, an Obama spokesperson tells CNN.
ormer President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush will also travel to Shanksville. The George W. Bush Presidential Center announced the 43rd President would deliver keynote remarks in a ceremony open ONLY to the families of those killed on United Flight 93 and invited guests.
