Before I get going, yesterday, after I sent Williams Scholar Daniel Ciba all of this information: https://theweathercontinues.blogspot.com/2021/09/my-emailed-letter-to-daniel-ciba-and.html -- he sent me a Facebook Message thanking me -- and this morning, after getting notice from LINKED-IN that FOURTEEN people had viewed my profile there in the last week, I discovered that Dan Ciba was the most RECENT of them, checking it at about noon, today.
The other thing this morning, is that I spoke with Mom, Ruth Anne (Meyer) Kenan, the retired, nearly ninety-nine year old, top Roman Catholic NAZI in the USA at length -- we trading funny stories. Mom's Bridge Club -- normally two tables of four -- had only THREE people show up this past Tuesday, and the County Administrator of the public spaces at the grade school in Knightdale, NC, JOINED THEM, saying that her GRANDMOTHER LOVED BRIDGE, and she was a QUICK LEARNER and tons of fun to play with. She also promised to change her schedule to work there every Tuesday, so she can sub if they need her!!!
I told Mom how this Saturday -- since the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Wilmington had been cancelled due to COVID this year and last, and Wilmington has by FAR the highest alcohol consumption in North Carolina and is FIFTH of all US Cities as well as NUMBER ONE CITY IN THE USA for both DRUG ADDICTION and DRUG TRAFFICKING -- by our Christian Politicians and Churches (if not ALL of them), that DESPERATE FOR A DRINK, Wilmingtonians have scheduled a "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day" Parade, that begins at 11:00 AM -- THIS SATURDAY -- and will have food trucks, drinking, and dancing to Irish music until dinnertime!!!
NO WAY IN HELL would I MISS THAT!!!
