And as CONFUSED AS A METH ADDICT MYSELF (this morning -- but without benefit of psycho-active drugs), I confused Praful Patel, MD (who installed my Pacemaker), with Thomas Eskew, MD (who repaired my Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm), causing a bit of a BREWHAHA with Dr. Patel's staff -- until I figured it out.

And as CONFUSED AS A METH ADDICT MYSELF (this morning -- but without benefit of psycho-active drugs), I confused Praful Patel, MD (who installed my Pacemaker), with Thomas Eskew, MD (who repaired my Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm), causing a bit of a BREWHAHA with Dr. Patel's staff -- until I figured it out.

For whatever reason, one doctor uses MyChart (like nearly everyone associated with the New Hanover Regional Medical Center) -- and the other simply texts messages/appointments to my phone. ONE of them had set up DUPLICATE appointments a while back, and we had to straighten THAT OUT, back then, too.

I was concerned that I would not see the doctor again for another two weeks after the Aneurysm Repair -- and my bandages are still in place (and falling apart). BUT, I got a reminder text of my appointment this afternoon with Dr. Eskew (who did the Aneurysm), and THAT CLARIFIED EVERYTHING.
