As Readers know, although I am 6' 11" tall -- and the TALLEST Kenan in World History -- I cannot compete with THAT!!!
Not only did one of our WORST Presidents in History, Democrat Woodrow Wilson, GROW UP in the "Presbyterian Manse" -- now demolished and the site of the Bible Herb Garden that I tended as a volunteer the second half of 2011 -- while I was a MEMBER there -- I can tell you that the congregants not only WORSHIPPED the ancient crepe myrtle that Woodrow's mother planted and is NOW centered in a CROSS in the center of that garden, but a bas relief of Jesus's FACE -- in Crown-of-Thorns AGONY -- just like a ROMAN CATHOLIC Station of the Cross!!!
It is set in the side wall (to the left as you enter Kenan Chapel), and in TOTAL VIOLATION of Presbyterian Church Policies -- that allow NO CARVED IMAGES OF JESUS (in protest over plaster Catholic Idols), but the ASST. PASTOR THEN, Rev. Jim Holderness, told me he and Pastor Ernest Trice Thompson were PROUD to protect Dem. District Attorney Benjamin R. David's HARD-DRUG TRAFFICKING!!!
Holderness ALSO told me that that bas relief ALSO represents Frank Hawkins Kenan -- who is regarded as North Carolina's Ku Klux Klan Savior of the second half of the Twentieth Century -- why there is ALSO a Frank H. Kenan Memorial Chapel in Frank-Kenan-built, gated, ONLY right-wingers, Landfall :

I am very PROUD that I attended services at first in Kenan Chapel (naturally), and CHASED Ben and Stephanie David and their three children FROM that Chapel -- where ONLY THEY sat in the few pews all the way up front -- that faced the pulpit from the side.
