Dear Professor Abram and Others in Queer Studies,
My name is Scott David Kenan (Denison ’73), perhaps at 6’ 11”, the TALLEST Denisonian (at least who didn’t play basketball and who is “gay as a goose”), and over Easter Weekend, Denison caught my attention via a Facebook posting by Jeremy Torres about the recent Pride Weekend, that led to my reading a 2013 piece in the Denisonian in which my friend (and now Superior Court Judge in Los Angeles), Dean Hansell, commented about his having provided a space for gays to meet in fall of 1972, but Dean wasn’t there and didn’t come out until after his D.U. graduation.
I had known Dean from working with him on DCA anti-poverty programs in western Tennessee in conjunction with the Quaker Church – even spent January Term 1971 (I think) there in a group of about five Denison students, Dean and I sharing a double bed together in the community that had phones and electric, but no running water so outhouses. I thought Dean was the cutest (if then a bit pudgy), little Jewish hairball, but alas, he was straight so no funny stuff in a month of bedding with him – LOL!!!

Two friends and I actually attended that meeting, no one else showed up, I took charge, and we had a couple more meetings that we let be known on campus. No one else ever showed up, but some straight guy whose name I forget, using “Appley Putt Productions” (sp? – and named for his mutt), put together a 90-minute WDUB production on “Being Gay at Denison” with the three of us – the first 45 minutes was taped interview, and then we were 45 minutes live on air answering questions.
NOT ONE harassment or negative call came in!!! ALL of us had distinctive voices on a small campus, and so although not named, we were recognized and while some might have been standoffish toward us later, we were ALSO treated with RESPECT. The other two were James Culver Anderson, who began in my class but graduated in ’74, because his parents took him OUT of school after Freshman year and he had a series of about 18 ECT Treatments because of his being gay. I believe he is lost now to Denison records, but a few years ago I found him in a western US city wanting NO CONTACT with anyone from his college past.
Bert Bennett III (’74), was supposedly my boyfriend – but we never had sex. I think he was just “gay curious”, because today he is married with kids and a psychologist in Winston-Salem, NC – and today won’t speak to me. THEN, I had visited with his family that controls Quality Oil, a major Shell Oil distributor in NC (my Kenan family has controlled Standard Oil – now Exxon-Mobil/Rex Tillerson, etc., since 1913, and put Trump into power to destroy Democracy), and his best friend, a Reynolds, in their old manor house that today is no longer a residence, but this guy had a suite of rooms and when we went there had had several male overnight guests who were all high and running around that suite naked like whippet dogs – MUCH to my delight.
Perhaps funniest to me now, is that ONLY on my insistence, much was intercut with Elton John hits (he had not yet come out, and none others of them believed Elton was gay). Then LATER, Elton lost most of his “gay cred” by singing at his old druggin’-buddy Drug-Rush Limbaugh’s FOURTH serial wedding at my Kenan Family’s The Breakers, Palm Beach: http://theweathercontinues.blogspot.com/2018/03/elton-john-just-aint-been-same-since-he.html.
About 2012, I contacted the management of https://www.thebreakers.com/, who until then had bought 85% of all advertising on Fox News online, and convinced them to STOP THAT and spread their dollars across the political spectrum.
Also, Denison BLOCKED ME from commenting on most of Denison’s Facebook pages years ago – because I would NOT shut up about the political backstory of the USA that so many Denisonians (coming from White Privilege), do not want to hear about. My senior year I was elected Head Resident of Huffman Hall and my co-H.R. was Steve Fretwell, he got the position because he had been elected Head of Interfraternity Council. Steve and his girlfriend Debbie Tower (now his wife), and I got along great.
I did a January Term in London and Paris in 1973 with a group of 15 students led by Professor Steve Rosen. My roommate was Michael Stover, President of ATO Frat. I always let everyone know right away that I’m gay, and he was fine with that. A month after returning for spring semester, friends and I entered the Kismet, Columbus’s giant gay club then, and THREE Denison Frat Presidents -- including Stover -- RAN OUT THE BACK DOOR – HA!!!
Steve Fretwell told me about that – my friends and I had not known it. Who KNOWS how he heard it!!!
Anyway, I have TONS of material to write about and could use some help organizing it into a series of books that might have to end up being “historical fiction”, given all the powerful people I’ve known. John Lahr publicly recognized me as the authority on the last two years of Tennessee Williams’s life at the 2015 Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival, which is also where I met Lt. Gen. Russel Honore’, perhaps now my closest Military ally – he knowing all about my Kenan Family’s corruption of Atlanta, GA politics, etc., and being the WORLD’S BIGGEST POLLUTER through Exxon-Mobil and Kenan Advantage Group, www.theKAG.com.
This book was to be the featured hard-cover release of 30 books by Alyson Books in spring 2010, but they cancelled it for Political reasons (includes both Professional and Amazon Customer reviews):

I was raised with Swastikas on the dinner plates and daily beatings, and we lived across the street from Coach Lou Holtz (then assistant to Denison Alum Woody Hayes), in Columbus, OH – and for his help with Mom’s Swastika plans, she got Lou his first dream job at Notre Dame. As you might know, Holtz and Boehner were closest allies in turning the USA Catholic/NAZI, and my mother has had one-on-one meetings with Popes in Rome to get her orders three times.
The last month has been very intense for me. I went for a stress test before repair of an abdominal aneurysm of my aorta, ended up with a cardiac catheterization, two stents, and a pacemaker!!! And I am now healing from THAT (and finally quit cigs after 49 years – without biting anyone’s head off). I still have the aneurysm repair and a colonoscopy on schedule for soon.
DESPITE all of that, I have filed a serious and very detailed Complaint to the NC State Bar against D.A. Ben David who stole rights to my Williams memoir and convicted me of several climes that I already FORCED him to erase.
I have spent the last nine years literally homeless or nearly so – due to my immediate family and other “Christians”, so do not have the money to go to Chicago to get the Libel conviction thrown out, BUT they can’t steal my STORY, so if Denison agents (or individuals simply associated with Denison), can help me sell movie rights, we could make some money.
Scott Rudin and the producers of all the Harry Potter films – and a few others – were looking to buy movie rights, before the book’s copyright was stolen from me. I was never Legally served in Mexico, and then was tried and convicted in absentia in Cook County Courts by a Drug-Trafficking partner of Rahm Emanuel and El Chapo Guzman, and by a lawyer who is also a Fox News Talking Head!!!
This week I also confronted John Eastman, first brother-in-law of Paul McCartney, as well as Tennessee Williams’s last attorney whom I knew well. Eastman (a blood Jew – Epstein --converted to Episcopalian), who with Sewanee/Episcopal Church Head Council then, Michael Remer, and Tenn’s long-time friend Maria St. Just born in Saint Petersburg as Maria Britneva), planned and executed the CIA murder of Tennessee Williams (I can prove it in Court) – just like Jackie Kennedy Onassis warned Tenn and me at Jean Babette Stein and George Plimpton’s party on January 11, 1982.

John Eastman also tricked the other Beatles out of their rights to much, so McCartney is about 50 times richer than any of the others. And he ordered the murder of John Lennon.

And I will NEXT contact the new President of Harvard – to see if he is interested in trying to reclaim Tennessee Williams’s Estate, now worth over $2/3 Billion, from the Episcopal Church who murdered Tenn then stole his estate for Jesus Christ their Savior. Recent President Faust REFUSED to do so because Thomas S. Kenan III’s http://www.kenancharitabletrust.org/ gives Harvard too many millions per year, and she didn’t want to rock the MONEY BOAT.
I believe that I should get a very small cut of Tenn’s HUGE Estate – because bottom line it was to ONLY be used to support writers of an experimental kind. My blog has never made me a penny, but in nearly 11 years now, has gotten 1.5 million registered hits – not bad since I have no celebrity.
I am actually a fairly competitive person, and would LIKE to make some money to help support Denison with this. I have NO ONE (my family robbed me blind, so I won’t help them and they-don’t need it). Maybe even a 50-50 split on profits. My GOAL would be to give Ol’ Denny-Doo MORE than the Kenan Charity I linked to above gave Denison in 1974 or 75 – and were listed as the SECOND largest gift to increase the General Endowment in a Special Campaign, the Kenan gift listed only at over $1,000,000.00. I have no idea if the Kenan Trust gave Denison money at any other time.
So, I hope to enlist the help of a fellow Denisonian (or more), in this, and to make more for Denison than $1,000,000.00.
