The BEST part of this is that Jack Riggs is an ADAMANT CHRISTIAN -- Jack C. Riggs is the author of two prize-winning novels, "When the Finch Rises" and "The Fireman's Wife," and holds the rare position of a writer-in-residence at a two-year institution, Georgia Perimeter College near Decatur. He is also associate professor of English at the college.

This morning, I walked next-door to Chad Wagner's house, that he and his parents are renovating -- his parents in their mid-to-late 80s and living in Lake Lure, NC, but staying in Chad's OTHER house, next-door on the other side for at least ten days, now -- a house Chad normally rents out via AirB&B. They were all working outside.
I wanted to say HELLO -- before we are not allowed to visit neighbors in my county -- after 5:00 PM today. NONE OF THEM knew about that -- IN FACT they had never even HEARD of any "Social Distancing" directives -- because Donald Trump told them the NEWS IS ALL FALSE and to turn off the NEWS.
The parents have also said that Donald Trump is DESTROYING SOCIALISM, but were happy to hear that Trump is sending them and nearly everyone else $1,200.00 in a program of Socialism.
Chad's mother DEFIANTLY said that she will go to the store WHENEVER SHE NEEDS TO, which I explained IS ALLOWED.
Then, the Water/Sewer/Trash/Recyclables Authority dropped off containers at the end of our apartment building's drive, and I asked the guy if they were for apartment one (Robert James McKinney, whose same services have been OFF for about nine months -- a lease violation that Landlady Gold Walker has been aware of, but doesn't care about), and he said yes.
I had not noticed that Rob was standing on his porch, and after the guy drove off, Rob came over to me like a BAT OUT OF HELL, got right in my face (two feet away), and yelled, "That was RUDE!!!"
I replied, "Six feet away, M-Fer!!!" -- and almost had to PUSH him away.
STRANGEST, was that he had rolled Allie Ryan's emptied-this-morning trash bin to HIS place, earlier, and then after I went inside, he put it in Allie's place next to her recyclables bin, and rolled the two new ones to his own place.

I THANK the Port City Daily for publishing this piece, because I, TOO, am worried about WHAT is to become of Wilmington's HOMELESS as society mostly shuts down. And BIZARRELY, when I stopped by Food Lion to pick up some milk and other items, as I backed out of my parking space, there was a loud BANG -- like I had hit something hard -- but I felt no rolling resistance. As I turned my head to the left to see what it could have been, the guy I've had to my apartment a couple of times for a shower and to wash his clothes a few months ago (and yes, he did ask for and get a "male draining"). JERKED my door open, and yelled "HA!!! You HIT SOMETHING!!!"
Of course, he had snuck up and just PUNCHED my car -- and this was a BRILLIANT punking of me -- his intelligence is superior to most homeless people I've met. He is ALSO the guy who after living in a car near here had gotten into the Good Shepherd Homeless Shelter, and then LEFT VOLUNTARILY because most people there were doing and/or selling so many drugs that even HE was going crazy.
He and I run into each other a couple of times per week, and always talk with and kid each other, but I won't let him in my house (or my mouth), anymore.
Readers also know how the Good Shepherd Employees in 2011, hacked my wifi from their logo-ed van parked in front of my South 8th Street apartment, hung a poster in Good Shepherd's rec-room with my photo, name, address, and "Wanted: Dead or Alive", and their employees soon SHOT DEAD two best friends of my then roommate, David Escalante's, because they had been employed by the Good Shepherd in landscape work, but the Shepherd REFUSED TO PAY THEM.
They told David that if he EVER expected to get paid for his work, they would KILL HIM TOO!!! And David immediately fled to Charlotte, and I never heard from him again. I DO still have David's county immunizations record that he forgot to take -- if Law Enforcement needs verification of any of this.
And THEN, when I was in Mercy House homeless shelter fall of 2011, I heard from many other residents that THEIR Christian Churches had at first supported the Good Shepherd, but when they learned that Katrina Knight's employees had EMBEZZLED so many funds that they had bought themselves cars (I assume used ones), and even BOATS (used, again), that NO CHRISTIAN CHURCHES in town supported them with any real money, except First Baptist (the one on Kenan Plaza), Drug-Mafia-Mayor "Bill" Saffo's St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox, and of course, First Presbyterian -- aka the Kenan Cathedral to Hard-Drug Trafficking and White Supremacy -- where Drug-Trafficking Homo District Attorney Benjamin R. David, White Supremacist Judge Lindsey McKee/Luther, Drug-Trafficking Protector Judge Jeffrey Noecker, and CLEAN-to-my-knowledge Judge Robin Wickes Robinson have all been Deacons and/or Elders in recent years.
Here is my Letter to the Clerk of Superior Court -- that she gave the Judge BEFORE I appeared in Court when Katrina Knight SUED ME to try to get the Judge to FORBID me from blogging the TRUTH about them. Judge Richard Russell Davis, told her to charge me with LIBEL if it was not true, and REFUSED to muzzle me or this blog.
Since it is all TRUE, Katrina never did that -- HA!!!
So READ THIS if you too are concerned about the TERRIBLE PLIGHT of the Homeless -- and YES, of those who work with them.
It APPEARS that the Good Shepherd and the Salvation Army's Shelter are set up to be INCUBATORS of Covid-19!!!
I do NOT wish this illness on ANYONE (excepting Donald Trump, most Republicans, and Evangelical Christians), and Katrina Knight is PURELY GODLESS (except for money), anyway:
WOW!!! Katrina Knight should be in JAIL -- because of her crimes not only against me, but Good Shepherd Center is well known as one of the LARGEST distributors of Heroin in Wilmington. Nearly a year ago, Katrina SUED ME in COURT to get the Judge to put a GAG on me and my blog over Katrina's CRIMES of the past and present. The Judge LAUGHED HER OUT OF COURT, because if what I published was LIES, she needed to sue me for LIBEL or similar -- which she CAN'T do and has NOT done.
But HERE, Katrina GETS the challenge to her Shelter and the difficulty of keeping homeless people safe against the virus. I actually FEEL for Katrina Knight!!!
