Brought to you by my friends at WECT TV-6 in Wilmington, NC. TV-3 in Wilmington has EXTENSIVE footage of me (mostly during "OCCUPY WILMINGTON" marches in early 2011). WRAL-TV, Raleigh INTERVIEWED ME fairly extensively -- but I'm not sure that was even voice-recorded.

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Tensions began to rise at the rally outside of State Senator Thom Goolsby's law office on Walnut Street in Wilmington Monday.

This is the third week protesters have gathered outside his office.

They said they are upset over new legislation that includes regulations they say would force many abortion clinics in the state to close.

Carla Frenzel, a pro-life supporter, joined the crowd Monday.  She held a sign that read, "I support the baby's rights."

The protesters taunted Frenzel, but she held her ground at the protest.

"They're entitled to what they want to say, but I just want people to know that there is another side," said Frenzel. "I also support Thom Goolsby and what he's doing."

Alicia Alexander, one of the protesters, blamed Republicans for the anti-abortion legislation. "Republicans are trying to control other people's lives, especially women's lives," said Alexander.  "A woman should have a decision to do what she wants with her body."

The protesters said they will continue to show up outside of Goolsby's office every Monday until the legislation in question is repealed.

If women's health clinics were in such bad shape, why did NO medical groups or doctors support this legislation? The GOP politicians only want control and regulation over women's wombs so they can control their lives. Nevermind the cost to the state in future lawsuits. They will not stop abortion, but THEY will make it unsafe. Of course, the irony is lost on them and their deluded supporter.

Why not "REPEAL" the legislators?
